Gutfeld to Trump supporters: Democrats think ‘you’re the problem’ and are going to ‘run on you’

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld is fed up with deflecting Democrats who are fear-mongering about domestic extremism ahead of the November elections.

“[W]hen it comes to real issues, the Dems suck. Crime, inflation, the border. Like an electric car in California, they got nothing to run on, except for you. They’re gonna run on you,he said on “Gutfeld” Tuesday, in reference to the apparent politicized demonization of Trump supporters.

Former President Trump received nearly 75 million votes in the 2020 election.

“You’re the issue. You’re the problem. And so the hunt is on. In the good old days, the bad guy would be a terrorist hijacker. Now it’s just someone in a red hat. But I guess that’s easier than having the FBI plan kidnappings,” Gutfeld concluded in one of his signature monologues on his eponymous show on Tuesday evening as embedded above.

Earlier in the day, allegedly bipartisan U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan, who is trying to get a promotion to U.S. senator from Ohio, phoned in to MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” to claim that “we have to kill” the GOP’s purported extremist wing. The subtext for Ryan’s preference for working with “normal, mainstream Republicans” is that he likes establishment politicians who cave to the left’s demands in the name of consensus.

Ryan seemed to channel President Biden who, without evidence, has smeared MAGA Republicans with the extremism label, a talking point that his entire party has seemingly adopted.

In a partially satirical monologue for which he is well known, Gutfeld seemed particularly disenchanted with Jo Biden’s robotic Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, a “pointy-eared, chrome-domed gremlin,” who sullied the solemn memory of the 9/11 anniversary on Sunday with a warning about “domestic violent extremism” that includes “anti-government sentiment” via social media, that — Majorkas claimed — includes false narratives and personal grievances.

“You see what this nut bucket just did? On 9/11, he equates that attack with online lies and personal grievances, which, as you know, is 98.9% of the content that appears online. Talk about inflation. Terrorism just went from knocking the Twin Towers down to leaving a mean message on Yelp….Personal grievances is now an emerging threat on par with al Qaeda. Terrorism – it’s just not for terrorists anymore; it’s now for people mad they didn’t get the senior discount at Denny’s. My key demo,” Gutfeld quipped.

He also castigated the Biden administration official for trying to “equate Americans with hijackers.”

Gutfeld continued: “When this jackass says the threat landscape has evolved, he’s really saying we’ve gone ahead and widened it, which is normal if you’re Brian Stelter’s tailor, and you’re talking about his pants. But this is to stoke fear ahead of the midterms, and keep you from voting red, and this jerk is playing the good political soldier.”

The FNC host also called out the Biden administration for reportedly negotiating a plea bargain with alleged 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and several co-conspirators that takes the death penalty off the table.

“They’re making deals with 9/11 hijackers when they knew we’d be distracted by 9/11,” Gutfeld said.

Gutfeld, whose show often outpaces in ratings the late-night “entertainment” programs on the alphabet networks, also slammed the Democrats’ selective outrage.

“So an insult on Twitter can just be a stepping stone to flying a plane into a building. But like the president’s drool, this kind of threat only flows one way. They don’t seem to mind rhetoric online when it’s coming from unhinged liberals or even violence. The Democrat leader who allegedly murdered a Las Vegas journalist is still on the payroll. Apparently, he is not a threat. In fact, some in the media said it’s Trump’s fault when Democrats attack journalists. Karen Bass, the Democrat mayor candidate for L.A., mysteriously lost a pair of guns. Nothing to see there,” he contended.

In the soliloquy, Gutfeld alluded to the seeming obliviousness of Democrats to the violent crime that has infested American cities that they control.

Criminals and potential terrorists crossing the southern border, a region that Majorkas and VP Kamala Harris claim is secure, is obviously a real-world catastrophe amidst the illegal immigration crisis.

Referencing a flurry of J6-related Justice Department subpoenas served on those in the Trump orbit, Gutfeld joked that “All this as real terrorists pour through our border like a fart through an N95 mask.”

He also mentioned that under the DHS Secretary’s watch, “we’ve seen Americans die by hundreds of thousands from fentanyl that’s coming through the border.”

Moreover, the Biden administration seems anxious to rejoin the Iran nuclear deal with a country that the U.S. government has designated a state-sponsor of terrorism.

One poll cited by MNSBC indicates that Ryan and GOP standard-bearer J.D. Vance, a Trump endorsee, are essentially in a dead heat in Ohio.

The RealClearPolitics polling aggregate gives Vance a 2.3 percent lead.

Data analyst Rich Baris, a.k.a. The People’s Pundit, has previously suggested that Vance is in the driver’s seat in this election in the Republican-trending state.
