Greg Gutfeld blasts DHS Secretary Mayorkas for ‘taking a crap on 9/11’ with polarizing political digs

Fox News’s Greg Gutfeld blasted DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for his disgusting remarks on the 21st anniversary of the deadliest terror attacks in U.S. history, using what should have been a solemn occasion to mark the day that changed everything into an attack on the regime’s political enemies.

Speaking from “Ground Zero” where the World Trade Center once stood before Islamist extremists using hijacked jet airliners brought it down on September 11, 2001, murdering over 2,000 people who worked in the buildings along with several hundred first responders who rushed to the rescue, Mayorkas desecrated their memory to portray tens of millions of Americans who voted for the “wrong” guy as the enemy within.

Kicking off Monday’s edition of “The Five,” Gutfeld remarked on liberals taking “Biden’s us versus them to the next level,” before teeing up clips of divisive 9/11 anniversary rhetoric from Vice President Kamala Harris and Mayorkas, both of whom hold top positions in the what continues to reveal itself as the most extreme administration in the nation’s history.

“Coming together except for those extremists,” he said, mocking Harris’s divisive words. “Liberals taking Biden’s cue and smearing Trump voters on September 11,” showing a tweet by the unhinged progressive radio host Dean Obeidallah likening supporters of the former president to the al Qaeda terrorists who were responsible for 9/11.

“Biden’s DHS secretary was echoing that sentiment while at Ground Zero,” he said, showing a video clip of Mayorkas who said, “The threat landscape has evolved considerably over the last 20 years,” and  “We are seeing an emerging threat of course over the last several years of the domestic violent extremists.”

“An ideology of hate, anti-government sentiment, false narratives propagated on online platforms, even personal grievances,” Mayorkas said, referring to what used to be considered legitimate political dissent back when both parties were staunch defenders of the First Amendment.

Gutfeld then said that he had originally planned to talk about a New York Times report that positive polling for Democrats could be an illusion but that he had not yet seen Mayorkas’ despicable comments.

“That is a government official basically taking a crap on 9/11,” Gutfeld said. “He basically marginalized the memories of those people by equating to some kind of political agenda. It’s absolutely disgusting.”

Later on in the segment, co-host, Jesse Watters responded to Gutfeld’s suggestion that the Democrats’ “strategy to use January 6 as a political weapon” may not be paying off.

“It is paying off,” Watters said. “They’re raiding, they’re stealing people’s phones, they’re probably listening to my personal conversations, and I know that they’re listening so I’m trying to throw them off a little bit, but it’s really dangerous because you have the media and the FBI and probably the CIA all on the same side.”

“They’re using all the Bush war on terror tactics against not al Qaeda or ISIS, they’re using it against MAGA Republicans,” he pointed out.

“Do you remember, I don’t know, during the Bush years, they said oh, Democrats ‘stop politicizing 9/11.’ If you were Republican and you wore a flag pin, they said you were politicizing 9/11. Now they get on 9/11 and call half the country terrorists. How is that not politicizing 9-11?” Watters asked.

“January 6 is their 9/11,” he added.
