Not only did a director for race and equity with UCLA’s Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion join the leftist mob that called for the death of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas during his recent hospitalization, he did so after openly admitting to perpetuating a race hoax while at law school calling the “rule” against wishing ill on others “silly.”

Jonathan Perkins, who is black, joined UCLA in 2019 after previously serving as General Counsel at Harvard University. Prior to that, he had spent his career working his way up in a Philadelphia-based law firm’s education division and had “also regularly served as a consultant, writer, and speaker on issues of equity, diversity, and inclusion,” according to his UCLA bio.

It should come as no surprise to those familiar with this brand of Marxism sugarcoated in marketable terms like “fairness” and “equity” that what Perkins truly cares about is pushing his own agenda. So, when Thomas took ill and was admitted to Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C. with flu-like symptoms, the university representative had no qualms about spouting vitriol like the rest of the mob.

“No one wants to openly admit [we all] hope Clarence Thomas dies,” he wrote on his account that is currently set to private. “Whatever you need to tell yourselves. This whole rule we’re not to wish ill on people is silly.”

“Uncle Thomas is a sexist token who’s committed himself to making us all share in he and his treasonous wife’s misery,” he added bringing allegations raised by the Jan 6 Select Committee that Ginni Thomas was somehow involved with the events at the Capitol into the mix.

“I’m over it. He is bad. He’s LITERALLY endangered lives of countless of this country’s vulnerable populations,” Perkins claimed.

“Clarence Thomas can choke as far as I’m concerned. He hurts the people I love,” he wrote in reply to one Twitter user and then affirmed to another, “Yes. Clarence Thomas can die and I won’t be sad.”

“I DO hope he dies. And so??? He’s a horrible person. You’ve certainly hoped for the death of horrible people in your history,” he accused someone else.

Perkins denied the reality of Thomas’ illness writing, “ALSO THIS IS MOOT BECAUSE HE WASN’T ACTUALLY SICK,” considering some kind of conspiracy because it was the same day the Jan 6 investigation raised its concerns on Thomas and his wife.

The irony is this comes from the same man who told the Associated Press that, “I want people to know what actually happened. I want people to know that people of color don’t have to make these things up,” when discussing his alleged fabrication of racial profiling against himself in 2011.

While attending the University of Virginia Law School, Perkins published a letter to Virginia Law Weekly about an incident where police officers stopped him as he was walking home from a party because he “fit the description” of a perpetrator they were looking for.

He explained that after they cleared him, they followed behind him in their car until he got home and that he shared the story “because it is important for my classmates to hear a real-life anecdote illustrating the myth of equal protection under that law.”

Perkins’s little hoax drew national attention and the FBI investigated the incident and, after questioning by agent Robert Hilland, he rescinded his accusations and was nearly kicked out of law school over the incident.

While claiming to the AP that “in the climate we’re seeing now – particularly with the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement – I couldn’t live with myself if I didn’t speak the truth about what actually happened,” the incident is also two years past the statute of limitations where Perkins could face serious backlash for his hoax.

“When he recanted weeks later, he was branded a liar and an example of what’s wrong with affirmative action. One editorial writer called him a ‘race hoax hustler,'” the AP reported at the time.
