During a riff at Mar-a Lago in front of an enthusiastic audience on Saturday evening, former President Donald Trump blasted CRT-loving U.S. Army General Mark Milley.

In the context of President Biden’s disastrous troop withdrawal from Afghanistan, Trump reportedly described the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff as a “f—–g idiot.”

Trump was addressing a crowd at a Turning Point USA event as his Palm Beach resort, when he recalled that Milley claimed that it was more cost effective to abandon massive stockpiles of military hardware in Afghanistan instead of bringing it home.

“You mean you think it’s cheaper to leave it there so they can have it than it is to fill it up with a half a tank of gas and fly it into Pakistan or fly it to our country? That’s when I realized he was a f—-g idiot,” Trump said, which prompted audience laughter.

Watch (*warning for language):

It is estimated that the U.S. left as much as $85 billion worth of taxpayer-funded military equipment when it exited the Afghan theater.

Earlier in his remarks, Trump said “I want every nut, every bolt, every screw. We’re taking everything. We’re taking down the tents. They left all the tents. They left everything. Couldn’t they have flown in a couple of hundred pilots and flown the planes back?”

Embedded below is a longer video clip of Trump’s remarks during which he lamented the U.S. servicemembers murdered during the chaotic withdrawal and details the gear left behind, such as brand-new Apache helicopters, tanks, and 700,000 rifles, many of which he says have fallen into the hands of China and Russia and otherwise sold on the black market.

Trump’s speech covered lot of current events in cataloging many of Biden’s other policy failures.

As he has done before, including during a recent interview with Brexit champion Nigel Farage on GB News, Trump insisted that the real “insurrection” occurred on Election Day, November 3, owing to what he considers a stolen election.

Trump has condemned the self-righteous Milley previously, particularly after the general reportedly called his CCP counterpart to controversially promise that he would provide advanced warning of any theoretical U.S. military action order by POTUS 45 against the communist regime in China.

In a statement released through the Save America PAC in September in response to the report on the China calls, Trump wrote, in part, that “the only reason Biden will not fire or court-martial Milley is because he doesn’t want him spilling the dirty secrets on Biden’s deadly disaster in Afghanistan. Milley is a complete nut job.”

In September, Fox News host Tucker Carlson played 2015-vintage footage in which Milley, an avid reader of the works of Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin, and Mao Zedong, asserted that “China is not an enemy” and instead, that Russia is America’s only true threat.

Trump has previously denied an allegation that he and Gen. Milley got into a shouting match about the possibility of invoking the Insurrection Act during the summer 2020 riots. “This is totally fake news, it never ever happened. I’m not a fan of Gen. Milley, but I never had an argument with him and the whole thing is false. He never talked back to me…If Gen. Milley had yelled at me, I would have fired him,” Trump told Axios.

Over the summer, Trump pushed back against alleged allegations supposedly from Milley that he wanted to engineer a post-election coup. “If I was going to do a coup, one of the last people I would want to do it with is General Mark Milley.”

Trump nominated Milley to the JCOC chairmanship in late 2018. If there is a second Trump presidential term, it seems highly likely that he will no longer rely on the GOP establishment’s advice for key hires.
