Pop star Miley Cyrus has committed the anti-“woke” crime of being friendly with Elon Musk, the eccentric entrepreneur best known for investing billions of dollars into trying to make humanity a multi-planet species by colonizing Mars.

After word broke that Musk and Cyrus are set to appear on “Saturday Night Live” on May 8th, with Musk hosting and Cyrus performing, a fan of the duo tweeted a meme to the billionaire depicting his head on the pop star’s body.

The original photo was snapped from the music video of Miley’s popular 2013 song “Wrecking Ball.”

Look at the meme below:

In response to the meme, Musk, who’s known for being extraordinarily down to Earth, replied by writing, “Might be something there haha.”

This caught the attention of Cyrus, who retweeted his reply the following day and wrote, “🚀 @elonmusk I’m down if you are! 🌙 #MileyAndMusk to the moon!”

Look:

No big deal, right? Wrong.

The fun banter provoked outrage from a select few “woke” leftists.

But the woke were in the minority. As of Saturday morning, Cyrus’s tweet boasted 33,000 likes, 4,000 retweets and only 1,000 comments, most of them positive.

The same thing happened when “Saturday Night Live” announced in an April 24th tweet that Musk and Cyrus would be on together on May 8th. Again a small minority of the perpetually aggrieved “woke” rushed to scream foul.

Look (*Language warning):

They’re upset because apparently, just like the Biden administration’s top coronavirus “expert,” Dr. Anthony Fauci, Musk mistakenly shared coronavirus misinformation during the start of the pandemic.

It appears they’re also mad that he’s a highly successful billionaire who’s on the path to one day achieving one of the greatest feats in humanity’s history.

But again, they’re the minority. As of Saturday morning, SNL’s tweet boasted 27,000 likes, 16,000 retweets and 8,000 comments, meaning there was no ratio. However, the latter Twitter user had a point when he wrote that “even the cast hates him.”

“After the announcement [on April 24th], cast members Bowen Yang, Aidy Bryant, and Andrew Dismukes appeared to show their unhappiness at the decision in a handful of cryptic social media posts,” according to The Independent.

“Yang, a staff writer on SNL since 2018, posted a frowning emoji on Instagram seemingly in response to the announcement. Yang also later shared a screenshot of [a tweet from] Musk … adding: ‘What the f*** does this even mean?'”

Yang had reportedly been responding to this tweet that Musk had posted immediately after SNL’s announcement:

“Shortly after Musk’s forthcoming stint as host was announced, Aidy Bryant – a regular on the show since 2012 and star of Shrill – shared a tweet from Bernie Sanders, which many have taken as her disapproval of the hosting decision,” The Independent continued.

Page Six confirmed Friday that, thanks to the cast’s bellyaching, they “won’t be forced to appear alongside controversial billionaire Elon Musk when he hosts the show.”
