A congresswoman’s alleged attempt to “unfairly demonize” federal law enforcement over a supposed interaction with her son was said to have been made with “absolutely zero proof.”
Whether protesting outside U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facilities, aiding in doxxing federal agents, or arguably shutting down the government on their behalf, elected Democrats have made every effort to put foreign nationals ahead of American citizens. Now, amid renewed concerns about her own status in the country, acting ICE Director Todd Lyons reported “ZERO record” of Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D) claim that agents had pulled over her son.
“ICE has absolutely ZERO record of its officers or agents pulling over Congresswoman Omar’s son,” Lyons said in a statement released to multiple media outlets. “It speaks volumes that Congresswoman Omar is leveling this accusation with absolutely zero proof.”

As had been reported, during an appearance on “WCCO Sunday Morning,” Omar told anchor Esme Murphy a tale about her 20-year-old son getting stopped by ICE after visiting a Target store.
“But yesterday, after he made a stop at a Target, he did get pulled over by ICE agents, and once he was able to produce his passport ID, they did let him go,” she claimed, insisting he always carries that kind of identification with him should he be pulled over.
The alleged spreading of falsehoods was deemed the latest example of leftists contributing to the spike in threats to federal agents as Lyons contended, “This ridiculous effort to unfairly demonize our law enforcement officers is directly contributing to the more than 1,150% increase in assaults and 8,000% increase in death threats against my officers and agents.”
“Allegations that ICE engages in ‘racial profiling’ are disgusting, reckless, and categorically FALSE,” he went on. “A person’s immigration status makes them a target for enforcement, not their skin color, race, or ethnicity.”
Omar continued to peddle claims of racism involving President Donald Trump’s administration, as she called it “not subtle” in response to the latest entry restrictions imposed on foreign nationals. “Donald Trump and Stephen Miller want to make the United States a white nationalist country. We won’t stand for it.”

The acting director’s pushback on the Somali-born Omar’s claims was spun by her office as cause to review all records on stops, as spokesperson Jacklyn Rogers maintained to Fox News Digital, “The congresswoman’s son and others were pulled over by ICE, racially profiled, and forced to prove their citizenship with a passport.”
“ICE has long operated a rogue agency beyond reform. It’s no surprise that an agency known for disappearing people also can’t keep its records straight,” she said. “ICE now claims it has records of all the stops, and our office would welcome the opportunity to review them.”
Meanwhile, with investigations uncovering allegations of fraud amounting to hundreds of millions of dollars, including members of the North Star State’s Somali community funneling taxpayer money to the terrorist group Al-Shabaab, scrutiny was once again on Omar regarding claims she’d committed immigration fraud by marrying her brother.
In response to reports that border czar Tom Homan is looking into Omar’s marriages, the congresswoman insisted that the only reason people keep bringing up the alleged marriage to her brother is “Because they’re sick!“
