Marcus Luttrell believes in the power of psychedelics as a way to help veterans get their lives back.

He did so in the Oval Office alongside podcaster Joe Rogan, as President Donald Trump announced “historic reforms to dramatically accelerate access to new medical research and treatments based on psychedelic drugs.”

“President Donald Trump on Saturday directed his administration to speed up reviews of certain psychedelic drugs, including ibogaine, which recently has been embraced by combat veterans and conservative lawmakers despite having serious safety risks,” CNBC reported on Saturday.
“You’re going to save a lot of lives through it,” Luttrell said to the president. “It absolutely changed my life for the better.”
