Conviction of school shooter’s mom unleashes mob on Kyle Rittenhouse’s mother

An unprecedented conviction unleashed an internet mob on the mother of Kyle Rittenhouse as gun-grabbers attempted a false equivalency.

On Nov. 30, 2021, then-15-year-old Ethan Crumbley brought a firearm to Michigan’s Oxford High School where he fatally shot four fellow students, a crime for which he was convicted and later sentenced to life in prison without possibility of parole. Tuesday, a Michigan jury found his mother Jennifer Crumbley guilty on four counts of involuntary manslaughter prompting a renewed attack on the Rittenhouse family.

The conviction of Crumbley made her the first parent in America to be held responsible for their child attacking a school, the Associated Press indicated, while her husband James Crumbley awaited his own trial slated for March regarding the failure to secure a gun and ammunition in the home as well as the failure to address their son’s mental health.

While the Crumbley’s shared responsibility for the killings of Madisyn Baldwin, 17; Tate Myre, 16; Justin Shilling, 16; and 14-year-old Hana St. Juliana; the character assassins have made a habit of ignoring that Rittenhouse was declared not guilty for the 2020 deaths of Anthony Huber and Joseph Rosenbaum during a riot in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

On Tuesday they extended that courtesy to his mother, Wendy Rittenhouse, as reactions to Crumbley’s verdict stretched to equate the two cases.

“Cool. Now do Kyle Rittenhouse’s mom,” wrote screenwriter Randi Mayem Singer sharing a clip of the verdict being read.

“Let’s do Kyle Rittenhouse’s mom!!!” wrote another captioning a post from BroolynDad_Defiant who’d asserted, “If you’re going to make those weapons accessible to your kids, you should be held responsible when they murder people with them.”

“Right? She is INCREDIBLY guilty too,” someone chimed in as another sounded off, “Kyle Rittenhouse’s mother should also be found guilty of involuntary manslaughter. Raise your hand…and Repost if you agree!”

As it happened, logic and reason were not wholly abandoned on social media users and many voices spoke up in support of the Rittenhouse family with both fact and opinion.

Meanwhile, while leftists attempted to find fault with Wendy Rittenhouse, one user reversed the argument with an eye toward the White House by simply stating in kind, “Now do Hunter Biden’s dad.”
