Left slams Trump warning, ‘we may never have a fair election again,’ leaves out complete statement

The world of politics is filled with dire warnings and while many are bluster, some are worth heeding and, as corporate media and online mobs rebuked former President Donald Trump for raising doubts as to whether “we’ll ever have a fair election again,” his rationale was readily ignored.

During the most recent Save America rally Saturday from Warren, Michigan, while the former president encouraged the support of Republican gubernatorial candidate Tudor Dixon and other members of the GOP ahead of the midterms, he touched on lasting concerns over election integrity. However baseless progressive pundits tried to frame his position, Trump’s context was much more than any lingering dissatisfaction over the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.

“If the communists win–and now we’re talking communists, we don’t say socialist anymore ’cause we’ve already skipped over socialist–but I’m afraid we have never had–and I don’t believe, I don’t believe we’ll ever have a fair election again. I don’t believe it,” the 45th president warned somberly.

What the Left ignored was the caveat that this outcome would only come “if the communists win” and Trump had laid out the argument for referring to the controlling arm of the Democrats as communists with a brief reminder of the believed sinister actions of President Joe Biden’s administration.

“The Biden administration is completely corrupt, jailing political opponents just like the Soviet Union-now Russia…think of it,” Trump said, “we’re being compared to that by many, many people because of what’s happening with the criminal justice system. I think it’s the criminal ‘injustice’ system.”

As it happened, while the FBI is being heavily scrutinized for potential violations of whistleblower protections after agents came forward to reveal alleged politicization within the Justice Department, weaponizing investigations to go after conservatives, an off-the-record interview with then-President Barack Obama was reported where he warned reporters to “be like white on rice” on the DOJ.

He suggested their power is scary if “it wants your stuff, and the Justice Department starts investigating you for long periods of time, even if you have nothing to hide,” adding, “I would be like white on rice on the Justice Department. I’d be paying a lot of attention to that. And if there is even a hint of politically motivated investigations, prosecutions, et cetera, I think you [reporters] have to be really on top of that.”

Shortly thereafter, Trump, who had already lauded conservative activist Ginni Thomas “for having the courage of her convictions” after reportedly not backing down from her view of the 2020 presidential election when questioned by the Jan. 6 committee, once again heaped praise on Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’ wife.

“She says that she still believes the 2020 election was stolen. She didn’t say, ‘Uh well, I’d like not to get involved, of course it was a wonderful election.’ It was a rigged and stolen election. She didn’t wait and sit around and say, ‘Well let me give ya maybe a different answer than I’ve been saying for the last two years now, no. She didn’t wilt under pressure like so many others that are weak people and stupid people,” he expressed, “because once they wilt, they end up being a witness for a long time.”

“She said what she thought. She said what she believed in. Too many Republicans are weak and they’re afraid and they better get strong fast or you’re not gonna have a Republican Party,” Trump concluded on that point, “and you’re not gonna have a country anymore.”
