Hillary reveals plans regarding 2024 presidential election and YES, it involves Trump

Hillary Clinton has made a decision about whether to seek the U.S. presidency in 2024, which will probably disappoint absolutely no one outside of perhaps the break room at National Public Radio.

During a softball and seemingly orchestrated interview, when CBS News anchor Norah O’Donnell asked the 2016 presidential loser if she would make another run for the White House, Clinton replied, “No, no, but I’m gonna do everything I can to make sure that we have a president who respects our democracy and the rule of law and upholds our institutions.”

Back in June, Clinton, 74, also disavowed running for president, so nothing has changed, at least publicly (although ambitious, that-was-then-this-is-now politicians are seldom shy about changing their minds).

Another thing that hasn’t changed is the disgruntled Democrat’s obsession with former President Donald Trump.

President Biden is supposedly intent on attempting a second term, but that remains to be seen.

If Trump runs again (as currently appears likely), Clinton told a somber O’Donnell that “he should be soundly defeated.”

“It should start in the Republican Party: Grow a backbone. Stand up to this guy,” Clinton said. “And heaven forbid if he gets the nomination, he needs to be defeated roundly and sent back to Mar-a-Lago.”

This unsolicited advice to the GOP will probably go unheeded.

Clinton’s concern over the rule of law and respecting democracy and institutions appears ironic given — for example — her purported involvement in pushing the Trump-Russia collusion hoax that undermined the 45th president’s administration and was hardly in the best interests of America, either domestically or on the international level.

In October 2017, even the liberal Washington Post reported that “The Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee helped fund research that resulted in a now-famous dossier containing allegations about President Trump’s connections to Russia and possible coordination between his campaign and the Kremlin, people familiar with the matter said.”

Clinton critics have also alleged that her family’s non-profit foundation functioned as an influence-pedaling, pay-for-play operation in which foreign entities made big contributions in exchange for favorable U.S. government treatment while Clinton was U.S. secretary of state under then-President Obama.

Perhaps lacking self-awareness, a resentful Clinton also accused Trump of leading a “seditious conspiracy” against the U.S. government after the 2020 election and touted the need for a “peaceful transfer of power.”

As a footnote to history, Democrats have a history of challenging election-results certification, including in 2016.

Clinton insisted to O’Donnell that her unsecured, private server allegedly containing classified national security material was different than what prompted the unprecedented and politically motivated FBI raid at President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home. The real problem, according to a still-bitter Clinton, was “the guy” (then FBI Director James Comey) wouldn’t stop talking about it.

The FBI never raided Clinton’s home, nor was she ever charged with a federal crime.

Comey described the way the Clinton team handled the documents as “extremely careless,” although Comey’s announcement reportedly originally used the words “grossly negligent,” language which could have led to legal ramifications.

Clinton also claimed that she was one of a handful of viewers glued to her TV while watching the partisan January 6 hearings.

She’s also a big fan of U.S. Rep. Liz Cheney (RINO-Wyo.) who was, to borrow Clinton’s terminology, “soundly defeated” on August 16 in the state’s GOP primary.

“I think [Cheney’s] done a great historic service to the United States, and paid a price for it, which was gutsy.”

With that comment, Clinton didn’t miss the opportunity to promote the Apple TV+ docuseries “Gutsy,” based on “The Book of Gutsy Women,” the latter reportedly co-written by Clinton and daughter Chelsea, which highlights pampered, limousine liberal females.
