Hillary Clinton definitively answers speculation over a possible ’24 run while sounding alarm

Preaching party unity, Hillary Clinton is opining on the 2024  presidential matchup, and it supposedly doesn’t include her, even though a GOP victory would be “frightening.”

When asked if she could “imagine” running again, the failed 2016 Democrat nominee specifically ruled it out.

“No, out of the question,” Clinton told the Financial Times during a chatty lunchtime interview. “First of all, I expect Biden to run. He certainly intends to run. It would be very disruptive to challenge that.”

As if it’s the messenger rather the policies, Democrat establishment types and the their corporate media allies nonetheless seem already trying to usher the deeply unpopular Joe Biden off the national stage.

In general, ambitious that-was-then-this-is-now politicians often deny interest in running for a particular office right up until they moment they decided to do it, however.

As she has mentioned previously, Clinton expects ex-President Trump to seek a second term.

“I think if he can he’s going to run again. Follow the money with Trump — he’s raised about $130mn sitting in his bank account that he used to travel around, to fund organizing against elections…I don’t know who will challenge him in the Republican primary.”

The “if he can” reference perhaps may be an allusion to whether the partisan J6 committee can put roadblocks in his way.

The projecting former U.S. Senator and Secretary of State under Obama is among those who continue to push a coordinated narrative about a so-called threat to democracy that the Dems began rolling out as soon as it appeared that they might lose control of Congress in the November midterms.

“We are standing on the precipice of losing our democracy, and everything that everybody else cares about then goes out the window. Look, the most important thing is to win the next election. The alternative is so frightening that whatever does not help you win should not be a priority,” Clinton claimed.

Still sounding bitter, Clinton claimed during the conversation that voter suppression occurred in 2016 to her candidacy’s detriment.

Pushing another myth, Clinton told the Financial Times interviewer that because of the potential overturning of Roe v. Wade  by the Supreme Court, also puts birth control and gay marriage at risk. “The level of insidious rulemaking to further oppress women almost knows no end,” she added.

Trying to come across as a moderate, the very divisive politician who Trump sarcastically nicknamed “crooked Hillary” also seemed to lament the defund-the-police movement that has gained such currency in her own party. ”

“You need accountable measures. But you also need policing. It doesn’t even pass the common-sense politics test not to believe that. Some positions are so extreme on both the right and the left that they retreat to their corners…Politics should be the art of addition not subtraction,” he said.

Clinton, who supports the expansion of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, seems apparently still obsessed with Russia, the Financial Times article suggests.

“Although Clinton talks about today’s situation in Ukraine, she keeps referring back to Putin’s role in America’s 2016 election, which she believes was in revenge for an ‘anodyne’ statement she had made as secretary of state in 2012 in support of the pro-democracy protests against his return to Russia’s presidency…In her view, Putin’s only realistic path to victory in Ukraine would be Trump’s re-election in 2024. ‘If Trump had won in 2020 he would have pulled out of NATO — I have no doubt about that,'” she asserted.
