The Supreme Court is set to release opinions on two separate days this week and, as the public awaits a confirmed ruling that would overturn Roe v. Wade, protests meant to sway the opinions of the justices have continued with one of the latest using high school students as pawns to promote the agenda of the left.
On Saturday, protestors with the group Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights traveled to Justice Amy Coney Barrett’s home in Fall Church, VA for what they called a “Children’s Baby doll Procession.” The girls, that self-reported having traveled by bus from New York City, dressed in white pants featuring symbolic blood stains painted around the crotch and down the legs as they paraded carrying toy dolls.
The group carried signs with messages like “abortion on demand & without apology” and “not going back” with a drawing of a bloody clothes hanger as they marched down the street before positioning themselves outside the justice’s home. The protesters then bound their hands together with tape as many covered their mouths as well.
They allege that the ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, that would overturn Roe v. Wade if the leaked draft majority opinion of Justice Samuel Alito becomes official, would result in women being forced to have children and that they would essentially become second-class citizens.
The activist group shared a video of one of their members, reported to be a 15-year-old girl, presenting a hyperbolic argument against the potential ruling that would merely return power to the individual states to make laws on abortion. The girl began, “We are here at Justice Amy Coney Barrett’s house today with our arms tied, with our mouths covered, holding dolls because this is what Amy’s America looks like.”

“Children will be forced to give birth to children. Women will be silenced. Women will be invalidated. Women will be told they are less than,” she continued. “Women will be told they are inferior. And that is not ok. We cannot let that happen. So all of you who say you are pro-choice, get up and say it out loud. Get up, take to the streets and stay, because you cannot let this happen to your sisters, to your daughters, to your mothers. You can’t let this future happen to us. It’s not fair.”
The group also held a protest outside the Supreme Court Saturday repeating much of the same rhetoric.

Despite a recent assassination attempt against Justice Brett Kavanaugh, the reported illegality of the protests outside the homes of justices meant to sway their votes, and the recent additional security approved by Congress for the families of the justices, the protestors were only instructed to maintain a distance from the justice’s home as they protested, according to the Daily Mail.
There have also been numerous acts of arson and vandalism at reportedly pro-life clinics across the country attributed to another activist group, Jane’s Revenge. According to the Mail, the FBI as said the bureau, “is investigating a series of attacks and threats targeting pregnancy resource centers and faith-based organizations across the country.”
“The FBI takes all threats seriously and we continue to work closely with our law enforcement partners and will remain vigilant to protect our communities,” the statement went on.
As the end of the current Supreme Court term draws near, the decisions of 18 cases remain unannounced. SCOTUSblog, which covers the news of the court, noted there are expected to be two days in the upcoming week where some opinions will be issued.
NEW: The Supreme Court will issue more opinions next TUESDAY and THURSDAY. Eighteen cases remain to be decided, including cases on abortion, guns, climate change, and religion in schools.
