Gov. Ron DeSantis’ reelection campaign is fighting back against billionaire George Soros’ attempt to “manipulate” the gubernatorial race in Florida by launching Spanish public service announcement warnings to voters.
Soros is dumping a great deal of money into the Florida midterm elections in an effort to turn the state blue. He has purchased an ad buy on two separate Miami radio stations recently purchased by a new left-wing radio network that is targeting Hispanic Americans.
“Governor Ron DeSantis is taking [on] Soros on his own turf with a Spanish language ad buy on the Soros network, serving as a PSA to Hispanic Floridians to warn of the pro-socialism, radical agenda behind The Latino Media Network,” a statement the DeSantis campaign provided to Fox News Digital reads.
The Latino Media Network is comprised of 18 Hispanic radio stations spanning 10 different markets. It was in part financed by Lakestar Finance, an investment group affiliated with Soros Fund Management.
The radical Left will stop at nothing to push their Marxist agenda on voters, even buying local media. They are running a takeover scheme in Florida, but Governor @RonDeSantisFL is fighting back.

Former Hillary for America and AFL-CIO employee, Jess Morales Rocketto, and former White House staffer during the Obama administration, Stephanie Valencia, are piloting the venture. Axios is reporting that the purchases will provide the network “access to one-third of the Hispanic population” within the U.S.
Hispanics are reportedly fleeing the Democratic Party over its radical leftist policies. The radio network is an apparent effort to staunch the loss of Hispanic voters during an election year.
According to Fox News, Quinnipiac University ran a poll in April that showed President Joe Biden’s approval among Hispanics sitting at a dismal 26 percent. That poll reportedly reflects prior polls showing that Hispanic support for the left is slipping away and flowing into the Republican Party instead.
DeSantis’ ad will air on WAQI-AM and WQBA-AM.
It warns Hispanic voters over the purchase of the media outlets by Soros-backed leftists. The ad also touts his stance against “leftist disinformation” as he continues the “fight against socialism in America.” Since Florida has a sizable Cuban population, that message will almost certainly hit home.

“Warning, voters! The Left is taking control of our local media. Billionaire George Soros, known for financing extreme leftist causes, is now financing the purchase of Hispanic radio stations right here in Miami,” the translated version of the ad proclaims.
“They are coming with their ideological agenda,” it adds. “Soros and his minions know what this community represents in the fight against socialism in America. This community will not get confused. Under Governor Ron DeSantis’ leadership, Florida is standing against the corporate media and leftist disinformation.”
Crist can take the Latinx vote. Ron DeSantis has earned the Latino vote.

DeSantis tweeted pushing back against what he describes as the left’s “attempt to infiltrate” Florida.
“The Soros-funded radical left is running a scheme to manipulate local media in Florida to push their Marxist agenda on voters. In Florida, we reject the professional left and their attempt to infiltrate our state and will always stand for truth and freedom,” DeSantis declared.
Democrats just keep by more media to drown out the truth. Soros has funded many of our pro-criminal DAs. He should not be allowed to own US assets, particularly media outlets.

Helen Aguirre Ferré, who is the executive director of the Republican Party of Florida, denounced the Latino Media Network’s purchase of conservative Hispanic radio stations, according to the Washington Free Beacon.
“Miami’s Radio Mambi has always been a pillar for conservative discussion in Miami,” Aguirre Ferré noted. “The efforts by the far left, financed by George Soros, to silence conservative voices confirms the importance of the fight Hispanics are waging against Marxist ideology in Florida. The hastily arranged takeover of Radio Mambi shines a light to what lengths socialist interests will go to advance their agenda on America.”
