Leftist anti-police billionaire George Soros has dumped $40 million over the last ten years into political races in an effort to get 75 progressive prosecutors elected according to a new, explosive report.

Those district attorneys who are spread across the country have overseen soaring crime rates in America’s largest cities while incarceration plummets.

The 91-year-old philanthropist has funneled millions through his Open Society Foundations to sway elections in order to get social justice prosecutors installed so they can implement leftist policies. Soros has long been known for essentially buying elections.

Among those DAs is Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon who is coming under increasing fire over rampant crime in his city according to a report released by the pro-police action group Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund (LELDF). He was reportedly gifted $4.7 million by the Soros-funded California Justice and Safety PAC for his election campaign in 2020. Gascon is now under threat of recall for being too lenient on criminals who simply walk and then commit more crimes. Angelinos don’t feel safe in their homes and gangs are reportedly targeting well-to-do citizens.

Also on Soros’ infamous list of DAs is Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner. His campaign received $1.3 million from Soros-backed Color of Change and Pennsylvania Justice and Public Safety PAC. The donation accounted for more than 90 percent of his fundraising total in 2017.

Philadelphia was home to more shootings in 2021 than any year in the city’s history. It’s on track to tie or beat its record this year as well, according to the Daily Mail. Krasner has been DA since 2018 and has arguably been to blame for allowing crime to spike in the City of Brotherly Love. He has openly shunned prosecution for a myriad of offenses.

“Soros is using that campaign money and the hundreds of millions more for supporting organizations to quietly transform the criminal justice system for the worse, promoting dangerous policies and anti-police narratives to advance his radical agenda,” Jason Johnson, who is a former deputy commissioner of the Baltimore police, and president of the LELDF, stated, according to the Washington Examiner.

LELDF published a 17-page report on Tuesday titled, “‘Justice for sale: How George Soros put radical prosecutors in power.”

Thanks to tainted donations, one in five Americans reportedly live under the liberal auspices of Soros-backed DAs. That’s 72 million people which includes approximately half of America’s 50 most populous cities and counties, where a whopping 40 percent of homicides occur.

“Traditionally, elections for district attorney have been quiet affairs,” LELDF noted. “Candidates spent very little on their campaigns, instead jockeying for local endorsements and burnishing their legal qualifications for the top job.”

“That changed recently as millions of campaign dollars have flowed into these down-ballot contests. The bulk of that lavish spending on advertising and consultants has been done by (or on behalf of) ‘social justice’ candidates,” the group reported.

“In most of these free-spending contests, progressive forces proved victorious by either defeating incumbent Democrats or crushing a field of primary contenders. Strikingly, most of these prosecutors were political neophytes and had zero prosecutorial experience — previously an assumed prerequisite for office. Many have no previous criminal case experience,” the report added.

The report specifically goes after Gascon and Krasner, although there are many others to choose from including San Francisco DA Chesa Boudin who was heavily supported by Soros. He was just recalled over out-of-control crime in the City by the Bay.

Gascon and Krasner are arguably two of the most powerful progressive DAs in the nation, along with newly-elected Manhattan DA, Alvin Bragg who is also allegedly in the bag for Soros.

Bragg took the spot of Cyrus Vance at the beginning of the year. He is reportedly the first black DA in Manhattan and is being blasted for letting most criminals out with no bail and not prosecuting many of them while tying the hands of the York City Police Department.

Once Bragg was elected, he reportedly ordered the assistant district attorneys to stop charging criminals for a variety of low-level crimes and to avoid seeking jail time for certain robberies, assaults, and gun-possession cases in which no other crimes were committed. He contended that prison sentences should be handed down only for the most serious offenses, such as murder and rape.

His campaign was the recipient of $1.1 million from the Soros-backed New York Justice and Public Safety PAC, and Color of Change.

Cook County, Illinois District Attorney Kim Foxx was also given $2 million for her campaign through the Illinois Justice and Public Safety PAC, according to the report. She has overseen the killing fields of Chicago which have blossomed under her tenure.

Foxx is also being excoriated for her leniency towards criminals who commit violent crimes.

Loudoun County District Attorney Buta Biberaj received $922,000 through the New Virginia Majority and Virginia Justice and Public Safety PAC in Virginia. She is also facing a recall and is being accused of “letting criminals run rampant on the streets,” especially “wife beaters and child abusers.”

“Most of these prosecutors pursue radical justice policies upon assuming office including eliminating bail, dismissing felony cases, and seeking lenient sentences while creating antagonistic relationships with their public safety partners, especially the police,” the LELDF report asserts.

“Crime and violence surged following the election of many of these reform prosecutors,” it concluded.
