Musk fights back at ‘politically motivated hit piece’ accusing him of sexual harassment

Tesla CEO Elon Musk is calling accusations in the media that he exposed himself during a massage to a SpaceX flight attendant “utterly untrue,” “it never happened,” and that the reporting from Business Insider on the incident is a “politically motivated hit piece.”

“If I were inclined to engage in sexual harassment, this is unlikely to be the first time in my entire 30-year career that it comes to light,” Musk told Business Insider, calling the post a “politically motivated hit piece” and stating that there is “a lot more to this story.”

“The attacks against me should be viewed through a political lens – this is their standard (despicable) playbook – but nothing will deter me from fighting for a good future and your right to free speech,” he tweeted on Thursday.

“And, for the record, those wild accusations are utterly untrue,” the SpaceX CEO asserted.

“But I have a challenge to this liar who claims their friend saw me ‘exposed’ – describe just one thing, anything at all (scars, tattoos, …) that isn’t known by the public,” the CEO added. “She won’t be able to do so, because it never happened,” Musk heatedly charged.

Business Insider aired a sexual assault claim from a former flight attendant who was allegedly paid $250,000 as part of a severance agreement in 2018. The alleged incident occurred in 2016.

The attendant reportedly worked on a contract basis as part of the cabin crew for SpaceX’s corporate jet fleet. She is claiming that the billionaire exposed his erect penis to her, rubbed her leg, and offered to buy her a horse in exchange for an erotic massage, according to Business Insider.

The incident was brought to light by the attendant’s so-called friend who signed a declaration that provided second-hand details of the encounter. Business Insider claims to be in possession of emails and other records offered up by the ‘friend’ who contends that SpaceX encouraged the attendant to become a licensed masseuse so she could give Musk massages.

The former flight attendant reportedly told her friend that Musk invited her to his private room during a 2016 flight for a “full body massage.” She claims she found Musk “completely naked except for a sheet covering the lower half of his body.”

Following the alleged encounter and the rejection of Musk’s dubious offer, the attendant asserts she was not called on to work as much for SpaceX. That was when she decided to seek out a California employment attorney and file a complaint with SpaceX’s human resources department detailing the incident.

Musk and a mediator reportedly settled with the attendant and the matter never went to court. The severance fee of $250,000 was agreed upon after the attendant promised not to sue over the claims. It also included non-disclosure and non-disparagement clauses that prohibit the attendant from disclosing any information about Musk and his businesses. It appears that the attendant is using a friend to circumvent the agreement.

Christopher Cardaci, who is SpaceX’s vice president of legal, told Business Insider, “I’m not going to comment on any settlement agreements,” regarding the alleged payout to the flight attendant.

Musk predicted that political attacks would increase against him the day before all of this blew up.

“Political attacks on me will escalate dramatically in coming months,” he tweeted on Wednesday.

“If there’s ever a scandal about me, *please* call it Elongate,” Musk tweeted as the media frenzy ensued following the reporting by Business Insider.

“Finally, we get to use Elongate as scandal name. It’s kinda perfect,” he snarked.

Coincidentally, all of this is happening not long after Musk made his move to purchase Twitter. It also follows the mogul doing a number of things that have leftists upset including announcing he would reinstate former President Donald Trump’s account, taking swipes at President Joe Biden and Democrats, and stating that he plans to vote Republican in the next presidential election.

Smacking Biden, he stated, “The real president is whoever controls the teleprompter.”
