Billionaire Elon Musk continues to lob zingers at the left and on Wednesday, he took to Twitter to maul the Democratic Party, saying it has become so divisive and hateful that he will no longer be supporting them.
The Tesla/SpaceX CEO has been on fire since his purchase of the San Francisco-based tech giant, driving leftists into fits of rage with his Twitter barbs, needling them on a near-daily basis, and has now turned his fire on the political host entity for vicious cyber bullies, racists and violent street mobs, announcing to his 94 million followers that he will now be voting Republican.
According to Musk, “In the past I voted Democrat, because they were (mostly) the kindness party.”
“But they have become the party of division & hate, so I can no longer support them and will vote Republican,” he wrote. “Now, watch their dirty tricks campaign against me unfold …”
Musk added an emoji of a popcorn box for good measure.

But they have become the party of division & hate, so I can no longer support them and will vote Republican.
Now, watch their dirty tricks campaign against me unfold … 🍿

Earlier on Wednesday, Musk predicted the future.
“Political attacks on me will escalate dramatically in coming months,” he tweeted.

His tweet came on the day after President Joe Biden traveled to Buffalo to pay tribute to the ten people who were gunned down by a deranged killer at a local supermarket and, instead of the respectful and somber address that could offer solace and healing words to their grieving loved ones, delivered one of the most divisive, purely political speeches of his long career, smearing his political opponents as white supremacists and shoveling red meat to the haters that comprise the party’s base, a perfect example of what Musk is referring to.
Leftists and grifters reacted strongly to Musk’s statement, swarming Twitter with many proving his point with their hateful and divisive words.
Wrong side, buddy.

Are you talking about the party that pushes White Replacement Theory based exactly on fear and hate as the “kinder party”? Also, which party do you think buys Teslas? We’ve thought about buying one. Not anymore though
— Liz Wahl (@lizwahl) May 18, 2022
Framing the GOP as the anti-hate party not even a week after the Buffalo shooting is certainly a choice, Elon.

Party of the KKK, yes! Party of kindness, not so much!

Rich white son of emerald mine owner who grew up in apartheid South Africa is the real victim in our society #ThoughtsAndPrayers
— David Rothschild 🇺🇦 (@DavMicRot) May 18, 2022
Right after Buffalo….wow. I guess you can take the boy out of the apartheid emerald mine but you can’t take the apartheid emerald mine out of the boy.

You say this with a straight face as Republicans roll back basic civil rights for LGBT people and women including raped and incested girls being forced to carry their violent attackers child to term? You want your daughter to inherit that?
— Patricia Arquette (@PattyArquette) May 18, 2022
One party tried to overthrow the government. The other one just wants billionaires to pay taxes and people to have healthcare. You have fallen so deep into the far right algorithms that you have lost all sense of reality. Nobody is out to get you. They just want to be left alone.

This tweet is ironically divisive and hate filled.
As someone who’s spent a decade meaningfully admiring you, your comments as of late have made me legitimately disappointed.

Others were more welcoming.
There are many of us who voted Democrat for years and have come to realize what Elon is elucidating here and are now voting Republican. I am one of them. https://t.co/WEehV0l2Nm

Insanely and refreshingly bold of someone in your position to not just see this, but to say it out loud.
— Seth Dillon (@SethDillon) May 18, 2022
.@ElonMusk says he will be voting Republican for the first time in his life the next time he votes.
Elon is not alone. It’s nearly impossible to stand by and vote for today’s radical Democrat Party.
Welcome, Elon!

Elon Musk is right:@elonmusk
In the past I voted Democrat, because they were (mostly) the kindness party.
But they have become the party of division & hate, so I can no longer support them and will vote Republican.

It wasn’t the first time that Musk has triggered hate-fueled Democrats this week, as he mocked their leader Biden in a podcast interview.
“The real president is whoever controls the teleprompter,” he said.

In a tweet last month, Musk wrote, “I strongly supported Obama for President, but today’s Democratic Party has been hijacked by extremists.”
