Biden loses Univision? ‘Firing Line’ host unloads on president on inflation: ‘People can’t take it anymore!’

Even the usually liberal Univision channel is disillusioned with Democrat President Joe Biden over his failure to deal with rampant, worst-ever inflation or even acknowledge responsibility for it.

“People can’t take it anymore,” a flabbergasted network anchor declared.

In a scathing closing segment of the “Firing Line” (Linea de Feugo) program, host Luis Carlos Velez in a fiery monologue called out the 46th president for the inflationary spiral and, among other things, recommended that the POTUS put an end to the anti-GOP blame game that emerged again during Biden’s Tuesday morning remarks about the economy.

In contrast to the Trump presidency, the Biden administration has presided over a series of disasters on both the domestic and international levels; the inflation rate is perhaps the most onerous for families in day-to-day life.

“President Biden: Please. Stop the blame game and face the inflation problem in this country,” Velez asserted in the “Last Word” part of the show, according to a translation.

“People just can’t take it anymore. Your words today just flabbergasted us all, okay? They weren’t just a washing of the hands in the face of a very difficult price situation, but were also a shameless opportunity to attack Republicans,” Velez continued.

Watch:

“Solving this, Mr. President does not correspond to your opponents. It does not correspond to the Federal Reserve, it does not correspond to businesses. It corresponds to you.

“You got yourself elected. You should lead in order to provide solutions and persuade along with whom you must govern. This is the situation — the worst inflationary situation in 40 years: 40. It’s time to blame the moon, the stars, the sun, clearly,” he noted in an apparent nod to sarcasm.

“The worst part of COVID was two years ago. And we were already recovering economically when you arrived. It was the administration’s fault for handing out stimulus packages when people no longer needed them. And it is your fault to this day we have not set a plan in motion to solve the supply chain problem.”

“How much longer, Mr. President? People don’t eat off of politics. People eat off of wages, jobs, and opportunities. The responsibility to do something falls solely upon you, Mr. President,” the host concluded.

Despite his federal spending spree, Biden claimed on Tuesday morning that his policies helped rather than were harmful to the economic situation.

As Velez implied, in addition to taking shots at “Ultra-MAGA Republicans,” Biden blamed the COVID-19 pandemic and the so-called Putin price hike for the country’s economic woes.

MRC Latino Director Jorge Bonilla, who shared the Univision editorial on social media, indicated that the editorial reflects a change in management at Univision:

Pundits such as Tucker Carlson have theorized, however, that the negative corporate media coverage of a politician it previously championed and protected is a signal that the globalist establishment has decided that Biden, with his cratering approval ratings, needs to be replaced with someone who can implement far-left policies more effectively.
