John Paul Mac Isaac, the former owner of the repair shop where Hunter Biden left his infamous laptop-from-hell, spoke with Fox News host Tucker Carlson Wednesday, announcing that he was going to sue Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and several media outlets for defamation.

Carlson introduced Mac Isaac after pointing out that the leftist media had smeared the shop owner over alleged “Russian disinformation” and upended his life. He also mocked those who had referred to him as a “tool of Putin.”

“I’m taking them to court. The collusion that took place in mid-October of 2020 just astonished me when it happened. And I just couldn’t believe it. It was just a unilateral decision to all call this ‘Russian disinformation’ without even deciding if there was going to be any collateral damage, which there was,” Mac Isaac asserted alluding to his defamation lawsuit.

“Initially, people just assumed that I was a hacker or a thief, mainly because of Twitter labeling the material from the laptop being hacked and then banning the subject matter completely. But after 51 intelligence pillars of the intelligence community decided to call me a Russian disinformation campaign – and Adam Schiff went on CNN to follow that up, to express those concerns with the rest of the nation – it was pretty much from that point on I was labeled a stooge of Putin, and Putin thanks me for his service,” he continued, also noting that he no longer has his store because he had to flee Delaware over the blowback from the incident.

According to the New York Post, Mac Isaac filed a multimillion-dollar defamation suit on Tuesday against Schiff, CNN, the Daily Beast, and Politico, asserting they falsely accused him of spewing Russian disinformation.

After fighting to reveal the truth, all I want now is for the rest of the country to know that there was a collective and orchestrated effort by social and mainstream media to block a real story with real consequences for the nation,” he told the media outlet.

“This was collusion led by 51 former pillars in the intelligence community and backed by words and actions of a politically motivated DOJ and FBI,” he charged. “I want this lawsuit to reveal that collusion and more importantly, who gave the marching orders.”

“Twitter initially labeled my action hacking, so for the first day after my information was leaked, I was bombarded with hate mail and death threats revolving around the idea that I was a hacker, a thief, and a criminal,” Mac Isaac revealed.

“Without any intel, the head of the intel committee decided to share with CNN and its viewers a complete and utter lie,” Mac Isaac said, referring to Adam Schiff who chairs the House Intelligence Committee. “A lie issued in the protection of a preferred presidential candidate.”

“The fight to get to the bottom of who told everyone this was Russian disinformation is far more important for the nation than me clearing my name,” he told the New York Post.

Mac Isaac is being represented by The America Project which was founded by retired Army Gen. Michael Flynn, his brother Joe Flynn, and businessman Pat Byrne.

“[We are] honored to sponsor John Paul Mac Isaac in his fight against the injustice that has been done to him when the political elite coordinated with the leftist news media claiming the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation — which was a blatant lie,” the group said in a statement.

“The synchronized efforts of these parties to wield their words like weapons are evident through years long continuous coverage that led to extreme public backlash against JP and the closing of his business,” the group added.

Mac Isaac’s attorney, Brian Della Rocca, told the New York Post on Tuesday that his client is seeking “at least $1 million in compensatory damages [and] punitive damages, which will be the bigger number and will be determined at trial.”
