“The View” plunged to new lows on Wednesday as panelists joked about why they thought Fox News host Tucker Carlson “doesn’t like” black and brown people, claiming it was because he had some kind of racial penis envy.

The comments came after the women started discussing GOP House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and leaked audio that surfaced via The New York Times where he appears to turn on former President Donald Trump and other Republicans who spoke out following the Jan. 6 protest.

Carlson denounced McCarthy proclaiming that he is a “puppet of the Democratic Party” and pointed out that in private, it turns out he “sounds like an MSNBC contributor.”

Using that as a pretense to launch into a derogatory discussion of Carlson’s private parts, the hosts segued into “testicle tanning” via his “End of Man” documentary on Fox Nation.

“There is $1.7 trillion in student debt. Do you know how crippling that is for our young people? For our economy? … If he’s going to cancel student debt, why aren’t Democrats talking about that?” co-host Sunny Hostin asked. “What we’re talking about is, you know, Tucker Carlson tanning testicles.”

“Now we know why Tucker doesn’t like Latinos and African Americans,” co-host Ana Navarro quipped, furthering the panel’s fixation on Carlson’s manhood.

“Little envy,” smirked Hostin.

“Brown envy,” jeered Navarro. “Who can blame him?”

The panel found the coarse references uproariously funny. The insinuation was that Carlson has penis envy when comparing his endowment to those of men of color. The women were ostensibly laughing at racial and gender stereotypes that they brought up themselves.

“We missed that story last week, but leave it to us to resuscitate it,” co-host Joy Behar added attempting, and failing, at being clever.

Carlson’s promo however seems to have been meant as its own form of mockery which, in turn, was predictably lost on the hosts of “The View.”

The show’s panelists were not the only ones to mock the clip.

MSNBC host Joy Reid relished ridiculing Carlson over it.

“Now a new trailer is out,” Reid declared, “to promote his feature series ‘The End of Men’—or shall we call it ‘an Ode to Men,’ a certain type of man, that is. The trailer featured shirtless men doing all the manly things: shooting guns, grilling, drinking egg yolks, and in one bizarre scene, tanning one’s groin using red laser beams.”

“Leave it to the Swanson frozen-food heir to suggest microwaving your testicles,” she snarked.

“I mean testicle tanning,” Reid said, “which supposedly raises testosterone levels in men, presumably not FDA approved, was an absolutely popular search term today. And we can make jokes about [Carlson], because, I mean, come on, and laugh at him on Twitter—but the message here is far more nefarious.”

“It’s about the so-called ‘decline of masculinity’ and the rise of the Left,” Reid opined. “And it’s a message that resonates deeply with [Carlson’s] Gen-X to elderly white male evangelical audience. The formerly bow-tied, ‘Dancing With the Stars’ contestant’s hyper-masculinity flex is some pretty blatant fascist posturing.”

“The ‘decline of real men’ is code for conservative white men who need laser beams to make white babies…[w]hat’s scarier is what the rhetoric translates into, from book banning to abortion bans and laws that regulate procreation in women’s bodies. And what is now an obsession with the false notion that scary liberal saboteurs are going to turn your kids, meaning your sons, trans. That fascist posturing has led to fascist tendencies on the American right,” she concluded.
