Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ press secretary took to social media on Saturday in search of the origin of the latest swatch of far-left trendy “newspeak” words and encouraged Democrats to keep pushing the woke terms.
“Genuine curiosity here…who came up with the following?” Christina Pushaw posted to her personal Twitter account and citing words and acronyms like LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, Latinx, AAPI and birthing people.
“This newspeak is EVERYWHERE in corporations & corporate media now, but hardly anyone actually uses these terms in conversation (thank goodness).”
Genuine curiosity here… who came up with the following?
– LGBTQIA+
– BIPOC
– Latinx
– AAPI
– Birthing peopleThis newspeak is EVERYWHERE in corporations & corporate media now, but hardly anyone actually uses these terms in conversation (thank goodness)

Pushaw responded to a now-deleted comment on the thread to encourage the poster’s fellow democrats to use the words “as much as possible,” likely because too much wokeness tends to infuriate and anger people and parents alike, driving them to abandon the Democratic Party altogether.
Because they’re cringe! But by all means, tell your fellow Florida Democrats to keep using these terms as much as possible. Every campaign ad this cycle!

As I said, keep saying Latinx and Birthing people, and please tell your Florida democrat friends to do the same! Blast those words everywhere and people will totally support you

Several people on social media were quick to cite the origin of the word with many likening the words to tools of indoctrination through Social Marxism.
“It’s about fracturing a society and creating as many oppressed groups as possible there by making it easier to conquer,” one person responded. “Comes out of 1920s Germany.”
It’s actually Social Marxism. It’s about fracturing a society and creating as many oppressed groups as possible there by making it easier to conquer. Comes out of 1920s Germany.

The collective left. Those terms come from the Marxian theory of power and their love for labeling people…

These are the words of activists, the serially offended, and corporate HR toadies

And to those that actually employ words like Latinx in everyday conversation, one person pointed out to Pushaw that these are one in the same as the subset of people that believe in Covid like it’s a religion.
Someone I know has used Latinx in a conversation with me. To no one’s surprise, she’s also a Covidian.

But another respondent hit the nail on the head when they deftly pinned the source of the acronym heavy terminology on one simple source: The Alphabet Mafia.
The Alphabet Mafia.

Although some of Pushaw’s followers couldn’t offer a theory on the origin as they were struggling just to keep up with the latest words, with one person inquiring, “Whats a bipoc?”
Whats a bipoc

BIPOC stands for “Black, Indigenous and People of Color which the New York Times quoted a Netflix podcast host in assuring its readers was a necessary term because “It is lazy to lump us all together as if we all face the same problems.”
While understanding the source is important, former President Donald Trump likely believes it’s more important to take action to stop these types of words from infiltrating and dividing society.
On Saturday he rallied a crowd in Grand Rapids, Michigan in support of parental rights and urged conservatives to stand up against the far-left desire to push anti-nuclear family gender ideology on children.
“As president, I was proud to issue the world’s first ban on critical race theory. Joe Biden rescinded that order immediately. But when we retake Congress, Republicans must ban critical race theory in our schools, ban it in our military and ban it in every part of our federal, state and local governments,” Trump said.
“Furthermore, America’s moms and dads must be given a veto over anyone teaching far-left gender theories to their children in school without parental consent. It’s unbelievable — this week, the Biden administration released guidance endorsing hormone therapy, puberty blockers and sex-changing surgeries for children and minor use.”
