U.S. Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) unloaded on Vice President Kamala Harris, calling her “an absolute disaster on every policy issue in her portfolio” in response to her reportedly complaining that her media coverage would be more favorable if she were any of her 48 white, male predecessors.
The New York Times released a recent report that indicated Harris had been privately carping to her colleagues and allies that she was being discriminated against in the press due to her race and gender, not because of her horrid performance as vice president.
In the report, Harris is said to have been reaching out to her predecessors concerning “the difficulties she is facing with the intractable issues in her portfolio, such as voting rights and the root causes of migration.”
“Ms. Harris has privately told her allies that the news coverage of her would be different if she were any of her 48 predecessors, all of whom were white and male,” the report claimed.
@VP Kamala Harris believes that everyone's against her because she's a woman of color 😂 Citizens have every right to hold her accountable. If she's not doing her job, it has nothing to do with her race or gender. It has everything to do with her ineptitude. pic.twitter.com/PAqWgtvPyO

“There is nothing sexist or racist stating the fact that Kamala Harris has been an absolute disaster on every policy issue in her portfolio – especially the border crisis,” Stefanik said in an interview with Fox News Digital. “There is nothing sexist or racist about the fact that if you put Kamala Harris on the congressional ballot in any district across America, she would lose because she can’t conduct a basic interview without embarrassing herself and Joe Biden.”
Many contend that Harris has richly earned her bad press. Her approval numbers have cratered and she is inarguably extremely unpopular among Americans on both sides of the political aisle. Especially among conservative women.
No vice president in U.S. history has a lower approval rating than Kamala Harris.

“Conservative women trailblazers have been mocked and maligned by the liberal press for years,” Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) said. “You learn to deal with it and not make excuses. When Vice President Kamala Harris took office, she knew she was charting a new path and would have to prove herself at every step along the way. She could have used her platform to protect the women and girls in Afghanistan, secure the southern border, or reduce crime in our cities. Instead, she tossed aside the historic opportunity she had been given to criticize the tough media environment conservative women have been successfully navigating for decades.”
The senator added that her gender “is no excuse for her disastrous performance.”
Felecia Killings, who is the founder and CEO of FeleciaKillings.org and the Conscious Conservative Movement, also tore into Harris.
“Many women have taken these challenges and converted these obstacles into stepping stones towards greatness,” Killings remarked to Fox News Digital. “In other words, our results speak for themselves. Vice President Harris, like any other politician, has something to prove to the American people. She is not exempt from any scrutiny. Her work must align with the bill of goods she sold to her voters.”
“Citizens have every right to hold her accountable,” she continued. “If she’s not doing her job, it has nothing to do with her race or gender. It has everything to do with her ineptitude.”
@KamalaHarris you are not being attacked in the press because of your race or gender, but simply because you are absolutely terrible at your job. Learn the difference

Harris’ aides and political compadres have also griped about her being a victim of a double standard due to race and gender.
“I know, and we all knew, that she would have a difficult time because anytime you’re a ‘first,’ you do,’” Rep. Karen Bass (D-CA) disingenuously argued. “And to be the first woman vice president, to be the first black, Asian woman, that’s a triple. So we knew it was going to be rough, but it has been relentless, and I think extremely unfair.”
Not only does the public have a strong dislike for Harris it is also rumored that working around her is “toxic.” A number of high-profile staff have jumped ship in the last few months, reportedly claiming they just could not take it anymore.
Kamala Harris is suffering from a staff infection. No one wants to work for her 😉

Race and gender are not flying as excuses for the vice president and she is desperately scrambling for a narrative that will make her more palatable to Americans. So far, she’s failing at that as well.
