Border Patrol discover horrific rap sheet of migrant after illegally crossing into US

U.S. Border Patrol agents in the Yuma, Arizona sector of the southern border say they have arrested an immigrant who entered the U.S. illegally on Monday. During a background check, agents found that the man had prior felony convictions for first-degree child rape and incest.

Chris T. Clem, the sector’s Chief Patrol Agent, tweeted that Edgar Antonio Gutierrez-Martinez has summarily been turned over to U.S. Marshals to face prosecution. He tweeted a photo of the convict (whose felony convictions seem to have had no punitive effect) after his arrest.

Border Patrol had reportedly not yet responded to a request for comment from Fox News.

The arrest is yet another indicator of the systemic problems with the Biden regime’s immigration policy, especially given the countless number of people who illegally cross into the U.S. without being caught.

As stated in a recent interview by former Border Patrol Chief Rodney Scott, statistically and invariably the many apprehensions are of potential terrorists, murderers, rapists, smugglers and MS-13 gang members who tend to embody all of those offenses. Scott was ousted by President Biden after 30 years of service, ostensibly because he believes in a secure border.

There were 9,278 arrests of criminal migrants in fiscal year 2021, until the end of August, compared to 2,438 in fiscal year 2020 and 4,269 in fiscal year 2019.

The State Department recently sent an email to The Associated Press, wherein they stated that 11,411 refugees had been allowed into the United States during the budget year that ended Thursday. That was less than the previous low — 11,814 in 2020 – and far below the 62,500 ceiling that President Joe Biden had set in May.

That number of refugees did not include the tens of thousands of Afghans brought to the United States as Biden surrendered the 20-year war to the Taliban, leaving billions of American military equipment in the hands of terrorists and, more importantly, stranding an unknown number of Americans and Afghan allies behind enemy lines.

It is also unclear whether or not the total refugee number included the thousands of Haitian immigrants who were whisked way under cover of darkness by the federal government after having been encamped in squalor at the port of entry in Del Rio, TX.

In August, former Trump press secretary Kayleigh McEnany questioned the job performance of the vice president who was placed in charge of the border by Biden.

“Where is Kamala Harris? She said it was a human catastrophe on the southern border during the Trump era. Where is she now? Where are the mainstream media? Where are the open-border advocates? Where are the Democrats who had crocodile tears in 2019? Where are they now?” she asked.

Even former President Obama revealed that he thinks an open border policy like that of the Biden administration is unsustainable, though when the interview aired on ABC News, Obama’s comment was edited out for the obvious reason it does not follow the Left’s progressive narrative.
