Left-wing CNN commentator Brianna Keilar has claimed that Fox News isn’t real news because of its alleged “fearmongering” and “creative chyrons.” But if that’s the case, then neither is CNN real news, and the only difference between the two non-news networks is that Fox News has exceptional ratings, while CNN doesn’t.

This claim about Fox News not being news was made by the seemingly unself-aware host during her first day hosting CNN’s “New Day” on Monday.

“Fox in the era of President Joe Biden is a carousel of conspiracy theories and fearmongering. So really what I’m saying is not much has changed. But the chyrons, those headlines you see at the bottom of your screen? They are getting noticeably more creative,” her claim began.

She was particularly incensed about the network’s chyrons pertaining to President Joe Biden, including one from Fox News’ “Hannity” that read, “Biden seems lost and confused during first press conference.”

“Other Fox banners imply that Biden basically belongs in a home and one of their main experts on this literally calls in from his retirement home in Florida,” Keilar continued.

She also took aim at Fox News for its coverage of the coronavirus pandemic, describing it as a “disservice.”

She concluded her claim by stating that Fox News “is not news” claim.

“[T]hey are inadvertently telling the truth about themselves, admitting the damage they wreak and the propaganda they peddle, like they’re writing the autobiography of their network in 30 characters or fewer, give or take — that Fox is not news, no matter what it calls itself,” she said.

Listen:

The great irony is that her claim about Fox News comes as CNN and other mainstream establishment networks are facing widespread backlash for, one, lying about deceased U.S. Capitol police officer Brian Sicknick’s death, and two, producing fact-free “fear porn” about the coronavirus pandemic.

It was learned last week that, despite the claim by CNN and other networks that Sicknick had had his head bashed in by Trump supporters during the Jan. 6th riot, he’d actually died from natural causes.

Yet despite this stunning blunder, the network refuses to take any responsibility:

Meanwhile, CNN is also facing backlash for peddling “fear porn” about the coronavirus pandemic.

In an article on “how to fly safely” published on the 12th, the far-left network claimed that, because the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are only 90 percent effective, “that means for every million fully vaccinated people who fly, some 100,000 could still become infected.”

Fact-check: GROSSLY FALSE.

In fairness to CNN, it eventually issued a correction.

Perhaps the most jarring example of Keilar’s hypocrisy — and CNN’s hypocrisy in general — are the network’s endless Trump-era chyrons.

Despite complaining about Biden’s chyrons, the far-left network spent years attacking then-President Donald Trump with its own “creative” and oftentimes conspiratorial chyrons.

Here are just a few examples:

Many have long argued that CNN is nothing but a far-left propaganda network. And in fact, recently one of its own staffers admitted that it is indeed exactly that.
