President Trump fueled widespread concern and ignited an avalanche of prayers after making an ominous statement that because he has a “lot of enemies out there” gunning for him, “this might be the last time you see me for a while.”

Trump made the cryptic remarks during a speech at the Whirlpool manufacturing plant in Clyde, Ohio.

During his speech, Trump slammed Barack Obama for selling out American workers with his catastrophic globalist agenda.

At one point, President Trump appeared to go off-script and made a foreboding statement:

“So I have a lot of enemies out there. This may be the last time you’ll see me for a while. A lot of very, very rich enemies. They are not happy with what I’m doing.

But I figure we have one chance to do it, and no other President is going to do what I do. There are a lot of unhappy people. They’re very rich people, and they’re very unhappy.”

The president made the chilling remarks while discussing his plans to slash prescription-drug prices to make them affordable to everyone. This three-year crusade has made Trump a key target and enemy of Big Pharma.

One man wondered: “Did Trump just call his own assassination attempt?” (** Language warning)

Twitter responded with a barrage of well-wishes and prayers.

A Trump supporter who lives 8,400 miles away in India wrote: “When I first heard him say that I almost cried. It is scary but what needs to be done needs to be done. I’m not an American. I am from India but I’m proud to say I have supported this man from the very beginning. The whole world needs him to drain that swamp. Now more than ever.”

Another urged Trump supporters to rain down heartfelt prayers on the President.

One woman tweeted: “Praying for you, Donald Trump. May God bless you and keep you safe!! May our Blessed Mother Mary cover you in her mantle and protect you from every evil.”

One Trump supporter lamented how sad it is that the mainstream media, Big Tech, Big Pharma, academia, Hollywood, the Democrat Party, parts of the GOP, and pro sports are all working against the president.

“It’s really kinda sad…God bless DT. God protect him.”

One Trump supporter recited the Bible passage Isaiah 54:17 to protect POTUS.

“No weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you.”

In other parts of his speech at the Whirlpool factory, President Trump blasted the Obama-Biden administration for their failed economic and foreign-relations policies.

“During eight years of the last administration, America lost 10,000 factories and nearly 200,000 manufacturing jobs,” Trump said. “In contrast, my administration added over a half a million manufacturing jobs. It was up to actually 701,000 jobs before the plague came.”

Trump continued: “My promise to American workers is to bring back American jobs in factories using every tool at my disposal. To be a strong nation, America must be a manufacturing nation and not be led by a bunch of fools. That means protecting our national industrial base. We have to protect our great companies and our great workers.”

“My final promise today is to forever uphold the commitment I made from the beginning: I will always put American workers first. Always.”
