Neil Cavuto was lambasted by Fox News viewers for abruptly cutting away from a press conference during which White House spokeswoman Kayleigh McEnany — an attorney — accused Democrats of not supporting a transparent election as the Trump administration seeks to expose alleged voter fraud.
“There is only one party in America trying to keep observers out of the [vote] count room, and that party, my friends, is the Democrat Party,” McEnany said. “You don’t oppose an audit of the vote because you want an accurate count. You don’t oppose our efforts at sunlight, at transparency, because you have nothing to hide. You take these positions because you are welcoming fraud and you are welcoming illegal voting.”
That’s when Cavuto cut away, saying: “Whoa, whoa, whoa! She’s charging that the other side is welcoming fraud and welcoming illegal voting. Unless she has more details to back that up, I can’t in good countenance continue showing this.”
(Cavuto’s snub was so egregious, Fox colleague Tucker took a swipe at him later on his show):
Cavuto continued: “I want to make sure that maybe they do have something to back that up. That is an explosive charge to make that the other side is effectively rigging and cheating. If she does bring proof of that we will take you back.”

Reminder: Cavuto, Fox News, and the mainstream media relentlessly covered the sham “gang rape” accusations against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh despite the fact that the flimsy claims were not supported by any real evidence.
Even if you disagree with the Trump campaign’s assertions that Democrats committed election fraud, the mere fact that the sitting U.S. president is making such an allegation is a newsworthy event that the media should cover.
Cavuto was trashed on social media for injecting his anti-Trump opinion and not allowing viewers to judge for themselves.
Attorney Ron Coleman asked: “Who the hell do you think you are, Neil Cavuto?”

Even Fox News’ rating kingpin, Tucker Carlson, appeared to take a veiled dig at Cavuto.
“You can’t just cut away from coverage you don’t like,” Carlson said.

One Twitter user said: “I’ve decided to give up on Fox News. Martha Mccallum. Juan Williams. Chris Wallace and Neil Cavuto are no longer able to conceal their leftism from the viewers. OAN is where I’ll find the real conservative news.”

Meanwhile, Fox News ratings have tumbled since Election Night after the network prematurely called Arizona for Joe Biden.
The network further enraged and alienated its longtime loyal audience by dismissing election-fraud allegations and evidence (including hundreds of contemporaneous, sworn affidavits from poll watchers).
Fox News has consistently beaten both CNN and MSNBC in ratings around-the-clock for the past 20 years.
However, fans have grown increasingly alarmed that the network is becoming left-wing just like CNN, with Rupert Murdoch’s leftist sons pulling the strings.

In 2019, Catholic League president Bill Donohue slammed the left-wing direction that Fox News has taken under the stewardship of founder Rupert Murdoch’s left-wing sons, James and Lachlan Murdoch.

Similarly, radio icon Rush Limbaugh said his 15.5 million weekly listeners have been complaining a lot about Fox News’ apparent left-leaning new direction.
“I can’t tell you the number of people who are complaining to me about Fox and their analysis,” Limbaugh said.
Rush said this left-wing migration is a slap in the face to the tens of millions of loyal viewers who made Fox News the No. 1 cable news network every day since its 1996 launch.
“I’d lower my expectations if I were you,” Limbaugh warned. “If you’re expecting what Fox used to be, you need to shift your perspective.”
