Ex-officials admit that spineless Obama ‘left a more dangerous world’

Former president Barack Obama’s wimpiness against foreign adversaries left the world a more dangerous place.  That’s what ex-Obama officials Barry Pavel, Gary Samore and Michael McFaul said while praising President Trump’s decisive actions in Syria and Afghanistan.

“[Obama] left a more dangerous world,” Pavel told Fox News. Pavel was a senior director on the National Security Council from 2008 to 2010.

Pavel said America’s enemies knew that Obama “had the capability, but not the will” to retaliate against aggressive actions, so our enemies did whatever they felt like without fear of repercussion from the United States — the only superpower in the world:

:Because they knew that the Obama administration would never use military force for any purpose, they felt free to conduct their coercive actions in the South China Seas, the Russians went into Iran and Syria, and North Korea accelerated their nuclear arms program.”

Under Obama’s watch, ISIS spread to more than 18 countries around the world. Pavel said Obama’s major mistake was not putting his foot down in Syria, such as when president Bashar al Assad attacked civilians with chemical weapons in 2013.

Instead of retaliating against Assad for violating international treaties banning the use of chemical weapons, Obama lied and claimed the United States had destroyed Syria’s chemical-weapons arsenal.

That was proven false when Assad reportedly attacked civilians with sarin nerve gas last week.

“In Syria, a major mistake was treating it like a humanitarian crisis, when it was a major national security crisis that has caused destabilization on our closest allies in Europe,” Pavel said. “Syria has been a source of terrorist attacks in Europe and the United States, and future attacks. I worry about that very much.”

“Donald Trump said, ‘I’m going to bomb the sh** out of ISIS.’ Promise fulfilled.”

Samore said Obama should’ve done what Trump did, which is act quickly and decisively. Gary Samore — who served for four years as Obama’s White House coordinator for arms control and weapons of mass destruction — remains an Obama apologist but praised President Trump’s air strikes in Syria.

“I applaud Trump,” Samore told Fox News. “Obama made a huge mistake by saying he was going to go to Congress for authorization. It turned out he did not have the votes. Trump was very smart to do it without congressional support.”

Michael McFaul —  the U.S. ambassador to Russia under Obama — told the New York Times that Obama’s reliance on diplomacy instead of action was unwise, and likely emboldened Bashar al Assad to attack his citizens again with chemical weapons last week.

Carl Higbie, a former Navy SEAL, joins a growing chorus of armed-forces veterans who are thrilled to finally have a commander-in-chief who will face down our enemies.

“This is Donald Trump reasserting us on the world stage as the dominant power that we are,” Higbie told Fox News. “I’m sick and tired of Obama’s limp-wristed foreign policies, pontificating endlessly about what to do.”

Higbie added: “Donald Trump said, ‘There is a problem. Let’s go deal with it.’ His campaign promise was, ‘I’m going to bomb the expletive out of ISIS.’  Promise fulfilled.”

Thanks Obama! Iran brags it’s beefing up its military bigtime and using US cash to do it
