Semi-truck driver allegedly caused 8 crashes, tried strangling driver

Police accused a semi-truck driver from New Jersey of causing eight accidents on a Chicago highway before attempting to strangle another driver on April 28 in an alleged instance of road rage.

Police alleged that the suspect was driving “recklessly,” which resulted in a string of collisions on I-57 northbound, according to an Illinois State Police (ISP) news release.
