‘Incredible!’ Peter Doocy ‘first’ to walk down fancy new White House walkway

President Trump is under fire, again, for a big, beautiful, new black granite walkway he had installed in anticipation of King Charles’ and Queen Camilla’s visit.

Trump revealed the polished walkway on Thursday, which he said he paid for personally, and replaces the old flagstone.

The renovation comes amid plenty more upgrades in and around the White House, including the proposed ballroom that has leftists fuming. Predictably, this small improvement (comparably) has Trump-haters seething too, but not so for Fox News Senior White House Correspondent Peter Doocy.

“Ok, this is a first. President Trump, I was just told, has not even walked on the new black granite walkway … I didn’t know that I was going to get to be the first person doing this today,” he said.

Would have worn nicer shoes if I knew this was going to happen today:

Doocy’s post received plenty of light-hearted responses, with many responding to his quip about wishing he’d worn “better shoes”:
