A hardcore left-winger with serious mental health problems attempted to murder President Trump and his cabinet Saturday night, but, in typical fashion, corporate media is trying to portray the thwarted plot as an attack on the press corps, the First Amendment, and “democracy” itself.
Cole Allen, the 31-year-old suspect, attempted to bum-rush the rather thin security at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner in the Washington Hilton before law enforcement thankfully stopped and arrested him. Before the assassination attempt, Allen reportedly sent his family an anti-Trump manifesto calling the president, among other things, a “rapist” and “pedophile.”
