President Donald Trump received a rebuke from the right after posting an image that appears to portray him as Jesus Christ.
The picture depicts the president in a “radiant in a red robe, laying hands on a sick man while surrounded by American symbols, the flag, eagles, fighter jets, the Statue of Liberty, and everyday heroes.”

Social media users, some of whom are supporters of Trump, spoke out about the “blasphemous” image and encouraged him to take it down.
This is blasphemous
Trump portraying himself as Jesus Christ, descending from the clouds, healing the sick, with people praying to him, is reprehensible.

I stand with Trump, I love my President, but as a Christian, I’m speechless.
Maybe he doesn’t realize how deep this picture looks or would represent, but I can’t condone this.

Guys, some things can’t be excused by turning them into online slap fights because some things have larger implications than online slap fights. Such as blasphemy.

But one X user pointed out that the image was originally posted by Nick Adams, showing “President Trump carrying out God’s work in healing and restoring our nation.” They dismissed the “panicans” speaking out against the image.
This image does NOT depict Donald Trump as Jesus.
