‘Is this a joke?!’ Top Dems release infuriating list of demands over DHS funding

In the partisan fight to fund DHS, top Dems have released a list of 10 demands for “reforms” that focus entirely on ICE.

In summary, the list included:

Targeted enforcement
No masks
Require ID
Protect Sensitive Locations
Stop racial profiling
Uphold use of force standards
Ensure safe and local coordination and oversight
Build safeguards into the system
Body cameras for accountability, not tracking
No paramilitary police

Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries also demanded “the ramping down of the surge in Minnesota” and the removal of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

There’s much to criticize about Dems’ demands, but the requirement for DHS agents to show I.D. was not lost on X users who slammed the blatant hypocrisy.
