The law enforcement veteran and InVest USA founder discusses a recent accomplishment made by ICE, despite heavy resistance.
Despite the best efforts by local government to impede their progress, ICE agents are indeed getting the job done in Minneapolis.
Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve seen a great deal of uneasiness within the state. Mayor Jacob Frey and Governor Tim Walz have consistently pushed for getting ICE agents out of Minneapolis, while – surprise! – failing to make any local progress over the Somali scheme that’s costing their taxpayers billions of dollars. And resistance has also come from citizens, including 37-year old Renee Nicole Good, who attempted to charge at an ICE agent and was killed as a result.
But the end goal is still there – to arrest illegal immigrant criminals and bring the city back to normalcy. That’s something that a lot of people are missing, amidst the cries of “GESTAPO!” and the death threats towards agents and their families. ICE is still working to get the job done – and I’m happy to see that progress has certainly been made amidst the unnecessary turmoil.
In a social media post, Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem announced that more than 10,000 illegal immigrants have been arrested since the start of the operation. In fact, 3,000 of those arrests have occurred in the past month and a half alone – an unprecedented number for an operation of this stature.
“PEACE AND PUBLIC SAFETY IN MINNEAPOLIS!” she noted. “We have arrested over 10,000 criminal illegal aliens who were killing Americans, hurting children and reigning terror in Minneapolis because Tim Walz and Jacob Frey refuse to protect their own people and instead protect criminals.
“In the last 6 weeks, our brave DHS law enforcement have arrested 3,000 criminal illegal aliens including vicious murderers, rapists, child pedophiles and incredibly dangerous individuals. A HUGE victory for public safety. “
This. In the midst of social media warriors trying to fight back against ICE, they’re out there getting the job done. And it’s a safe bet that this looks absolutely embarrassing for Walz and Frey, who, by the way, have been subpoenaed for their interference actions against Federal agents. It’s absurd they even attempted to do so in the first place.
And they’re not stopping now. Even with the unrest that these state officials have brought upon them, ICE agents are continuing to get the work done. Especially considering what’s at stake here. Again, fraud is running rampant with these Somalis, costing hard-working Americans an estimated $9 billion. I repeat, $9 billion. Do you know what that money could’ve gone towards?
And there’s so much deeper than they can dig into this. United States Representative Ilhan Omar is apparently seeing a huge growth in net worth over this period, skyrocketing to over $30 million. As a result, the House Oversight Committee is looking deeper into the matter – and will likely have ICE do some digging on their end as well. (Keep in mind that Omar has Somali origins, so…take that as you will.)
“There are a lot of questions as to how her husband accumulated so much wealth over the past two years,” said Oversight chairman James Comer (R-Ky). “It’s not possible. It’s not. I’m a money guy. It’s not possible.”
Here’s the bottom line. There’s a lot happening in Minneapolis, and chances are that Walz and Frey are going to do whatever they can to deflect the damage and blame ICE. Or the government. Or President Donald Trump. Or anyone. They’ll stir up social media, insist that there’s no basis surrounding the subpoenas, and Omar is “one of them,” so to speak. And they’ll continue to cheer on people doing unethical things, like former TV talk show host Don Lemon overtaking a church service alongside radicals to call out ICE.
But the fact of the matter is this – ICE is getting the job done. The numbers don’t lie. The arrests indicate the worst of the worst within the state. And they’re not through yet. The truth will eventually come out about this scheme and make these state officials look absolutely foolish for objecting in the first place – instead of putting the effort in themselves to resolve the problem for their taxpayers.
I’m cheering them on. It’s not an easy battle, but it’s certainly one worth winning.
