Illegal Somali convicted in MN fraud scheme seen in photos schmoozing with Tim Walz, Ilhan Omar

Already faced with allegations of being in on the fraud, damning pictures featured a convicted Somali fraudster schmoozing with some of Minnesota’s top Democrats.

Recently, President Donald Trump slammed Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) as “seriously retarded” as reports indicated potentially billions of dollars worth of fraud took place under his nose. Now, as open-border-favoring North Star State Democrats have sought to spin themselves clear of reports of fraud heavily centered around Somalis, pictures have emerged of a previously convicted “criminal illegal alien” cozied up to Minnesota Democrats like Walz and Somali-born Rep. Ilhan Omar.

According to a report from Fox News circulating on X, images obtained by the outlet show Somali illegal alien Abdul Dahir Ibrahim with the likes of Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon (D), U.S. Senator Tina Smith (D), state Senator Omar Fateh, Omar and Walz — in some instances wearing a campaign button supporting Somali-born Minnesota state Rep. Mohamud Noor (D).

Libs of TikTok highlighted that Ibrahim was “involved in the Feeding Our Future fraud scheme” that had made off with hundreds of millions of dollars allocated to fund distributing meals to school kids during COVID, as she shared the pictures and asked, “What did they know and when???”

Likewise, the Department of Homeland Security featured the images in a post, including one of Ibrahim’s arrest, and detailed how he’d been convicted of fraud in Canada before entering the United States, and it had been more than 20 years since a judge had ordered him removed from the country because of the “significant amount of fraud associated with him.”

“Criminal illegal alien, Abdul Dahir Ibrahim has been linked to Minnesota’s top sanctuary politicians. In these pictures Ibrahim can be seen with [Walz], [Omar], and [Fateh],” stated DHS. “Ibrahim was convicted in Canada for Asylum and Welfare Fraud prior to his entry into the United States. On April 3, 2004, an immigration judge ordered Ibrahim removed, citing the significant amount of fraud associated with him. Bye-bye, Abdul.”

Amid the concerns about fraud, Walz had opted to play the victim of the recent Truth Social post from Trump and lamented how he’s being heckled at home by people repeating the language of the president.

“I’d never seen this before. People driving by my house and using the R-word in front of people. This is shameful. And I have yet to see an elected official, a Republican elected official, say, ‘You’re right. That’s shameful. He should not say it.’ So, look, I’m worried,” the governor said. “We know how these things go. They start with taunts, they turn to violence. So, deeply concerned.”

Walz insisted his state would tackle crime, as, despite her own claims to ignorance of the fraud, another report had emphasized that personal associates of Omar “were making tens of millions of dollars” from programs caught up in the fraud investigation. As Center of the American Experiment policy fellow Bill Glahn had told the New York Post, “She knew who these people were.”

Meanwhile, as reactions to the photos included Tennessee Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R) wondering if Walz was “still grinning now that the public knows he made his state a safe haven for criminal aliens,” whistleblowers in Minnesota were said to have told lawmakers that it is their belief the “total amount of fraud could total up to more than $8 billion,” according to a report from Fox News.
