Things are looking so bad for Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis that even MSNBC talking heads cannot deny the facts.
During a hearing on Willis’ alleged misconduct with special prosecutor Nathan Wade, a shocking revelation that contradicted claims by the DA seemed to signal that it’s “game over for her” according to legal analyst Caroline Polisi.
“Don’t let the legalese fool you,” the federal criminal defense attorney said in an appearance on MSNBC Thursday.
“This is epic. This is monumental. If things are going in the direction we think, Fani Willis lied to the court, it’s game over for her,” Polisi added of the DA who is prosecuting former President Donald Trump.
“She will be disqualified. If they had a relationship prior to when they represented truth to the court, it’s a huge deal. I can’t overstate,” the legal analyst asserted.
Willis’ college friend, Robin Yeartie, testified that the “romantic” relationship between Willis and Wade began three years before the district attorney said it did.
“You have no doubt that their romantic relationship was in effect from 2019 until the last time you spoke with her?” defense lawyer Ashleigh Merchant asked Willis’ longtime friend, according to The Hill.
“No doubt,” Yeartie replied.
Journalist and podcast host Megyn Kelly, who left a legal career for journalism, also declared that Willis is “toast.”
Watching this Fani Willis/Nathan Wade hearing and they are toast. TOAST.
1. Her former close friend testified that their romantic relationship began well prior to when Fani hired him. By years! (Which means they lied to the court.)
2. Wade claimed Fani reimbursed him for all…— Megyn Kelly (@megynkelly) February 15, 2024
“Willis will be disqualified,” Polisi told Mediaite in a statement, “which means her entire office is disqualified, which means the case will have to be re-assigned and languish with the PAC of Georgia, effectively killing the case.”
“Her credibility is completely shot,” she declared.
And Georgia prosecutor Nathan Wade’s testimony only seemed to be making things worse.

Elaborating on trips they took together, Wade explained that he used his business credit card to book excursions and that Willis then reimbursed him.
“If you’ve ever spent any time with Ms. Willis, you understand that she’s a very independent, proud woman so she’s going to insist that she carries her own weight,” Wade said. “It actually was a point of contention between the two of us. She is going to pay her own way.”

Even if she did repay the purchases to Wade, it’s still incriminating since they were trying to hide them. AND since it was purchased on his business card, the cash given to him to repay it would have to be declared as income offset by the expense according to standard accounting practices AND Federal Tax Law. Sure hope he can prove that on a paper trail. Business Tax Records have to be kept for 7 years by law by his firm and all of this falls well within that 7 year period….. Bet he can’t prove it. This could almost be considered racketeering or FRAUD at best…..
