Even CNN admits ‘The nation has soured on Joe Biden’

Even CNN can’t continue to deny the facts and a new poll has the network’s political director admitting the nation has “soured” on President Joe Biden.

With 61% of Americans indicating their disapproval of the job Biden is doing, the latest numbers from a CNN poll had CNN political director David Chalian conceding that the reality is as bad as it looks.

“The country has soured on Joe Biden. There’s just not another way to put it,” he said in an on-air analysis of the poll which was conducted by SSRS between Oct. 27 and Nov. 2.

Asked if they approved or disapproved of “how Biden is handling his job as president,” voters surveyed responded with an overwhelming 61% saying they disapproved while only 39% approved, a number Chalian pointed out was below that of former President Donald Trump’s at 41%.

“Biden’s down there between Donald Trump and Jimmy Carter. You may know, that is down in the category of one-term presidents,” Chalian said. “He clearly wants to turn that around and he’s got a year to do so.”

“Biden’s reelection chances are buffeted by deeply negative approval ratings, a stagnant sense that things are going poorly in the United States, diminished support among key voter blocs, and a widespread sense that he is not up for the job,” CNN reported. “Just a quarter of Americans (25%) say Biden has the stamina and sharpness to serve effectively as president, while 53% feel Trump does. Only about half of Democrats (51%) say Biden has the sharpness and stamina to serve, compared with 90% of Republicans who say Trump does.”

The report also admitted that Biden’s dismal approval rating “is largely worse than previous modern presidents at this point in their reelection bids.”

In another reality-bites result, 72% of Americans believe things are going badly in the nation today.

“Voters who disapprove of Biden’s performance and those who say things are going badly in the country both break heavily in Trump’s favor, 79% Trump to 12% Biden among disapprovers, and 65% Trump to 27% Biden among those who say things are going badly,” CNN reported.

Fox News host Laura Ingraham was “shocked” by the poll results as well.

While CNN’s own seemed to have difficulty digesting the sobering poll results, many Biden fans bashed the network for its doomsaying.

Others on social media found the enlightenment on the network highly entertaining.
