ABC News warns of ‘red mirage’ appearing during midterm elections showing GOP in early artificial lead

In an echo of the 2020 presidential election, ABC News and other leftist media outlets are ginning up the claim that Republicans will take an artificial lead Tuesday during the midterm elections and a “red mirage” will appear just before Democrats actually win.

If that sounds familiar, it should. It pertains to results not being determined the night of the election as historically they have been, but days later as ballots in favor of Democrats miraculously surface as they did in 2020. Mail-in ballots could potentially be used to overthrow an election.

The trollish Lincoln Project defines a “red mirage” as “the propaganda technique Republicans use to prime their base for action when they lose races once every vote is counted.” Many contend that alluding to “counting every vote” is in reality a pretense for election fraud.

It’s all over the media, propagandizing and prepping the American voters for the “red mirage” instead of a more realistic “red wave” sweeping Republicans back into power, both in the House and the Senate.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is claiming that we won’t know the winners of elections for a few days and that is “how this is supposed to work.” The left is also asserting that social media will be full of election misinformation, setting the stage for what many will see as rigged elections if Democrats pull what they did in 2020.

ABC News contends that it will appear that Republicans will be winning early on just as former President Trump did in the presidential election. But that ALL votes must come in and be counted, which just screams election fraud.

ABC News reporter Isabella Murray goes there once again in a political redux that will enrage Americans, “As early Election Day results come in on Tuesday, it will likely appear that Republican candidates vying for any number of the federal or statewide races appear to be leading their Democratic opponents, even by large margins.”

“Their leads will dwindle, or crumble completely after perceived “dumps” of votes are recorded by state election officials who count mail-in and absentee ballots in the days — or even weeks — following Election Day,” she predicts.

She then invokes the “red mirage.”

“This phenomenon was popularized as the ‘red mirage’ or the ‘blue shift’ after the 2020 presidential election when former President Donald Trump took a deceptive lead in several competitive states on Election Day due to delays in counting of Democrats’ mail-in ballots — their preferred method of voting due to the COVID-19 pandemic — only to eventually dissipate when the entire reserve of votes was totaled,” Murray continues.

The illusion was a principal component of Trump and his allies’ false claims that the contest was fraudulent upon his ultimate loss to Joe Biden,” she added.

If Americans see the election results dragged out once again, the claims of election fraud will become ear-splitting and will take the nation one step closer to civil strife. And it will also be the death knell of trusted elections once and for all. Democrats should be very careful about what they claim and wish for as they prepare to poke the elephant once again.

Conservatives see what the left is attempting to do. Social media is on fire with snark over it:
