RNC chair flips CNN ‘election denier’ narrative: Dems are ‘inflation deniers… crime deniers’

Republican National Committee chair Ronna McDaniel on Sunday delivered a much-needed truth bomb to a CNN host obsessed with so-called “election deniers.”

Despite polls showing that Republicans are on track to trounce Democrats in this week’s elections, the liberal media remain obsessed with the idea that some Republican candidates may refuse to accept defeat.

It’s a strange obsession given that Democrats are expected to be the big losers. It’s also strange in light of Hillary Clinton’s claim that Republicans are about to steal the elections. A claim that’s been ignored by the media.

Nevertheless, this obsession manifested Sunday when CNN’s Dana Bash pressed McDaniel on this very topic.

Listen:

“When the process is played out and the votes are canvassed and certified — every one of your Republican candidates will accept their results, even if they lose?” the CNN co-host asked the RNC chair.

McDaniel replied in the affirmative before delivering a massive truth bomb.

“They will. … And here’s what I’m going to say too. Everybody’s talking about ‘election deniers.’ … I have a 10-minute video of Democrats denying elections from 2000 to 2020. This is not what the American people are caring about right now. And let me tell you what they are worried about,” she said.

“Our commander in chief, Joe Biden, going in front of the American people and saying, oh, look at this issue with election deniers. Well, here’s what Democrats are: they’re inflation deniers, they’re crime deniers, they’re education deniers. This is not what the American people are talking about,” McDaniel added.

Fact-check: TRUE.

Inflation and crime were listed as voters’ top concerns in a Harvard CAPS-Harris poll released exclusively last month to The Hill.

“Seventy-four percent of voters surveyed named inflation as ‘very important,’ while 22 percent said it is ‘somewhat important.’ Sixty-eight percent, meanwhile, said crime is a ‘very important’ issue, while 26 percent said it is only ‘somewhat important,'” The Hill reported.

Other polls have turned up similar results, particularly around inflation:

But Democrats don’t seem to understand this. Indeed, they’ve tried desperately in recent weeks to make this election a referendum on democracy instead.

“This is no ordinary year. So I ask you to think long and hard about the moment we’re in. In a typical year, we’re often not faced with questions of whether the vote we cast will preserve democracy or put us at risk. But this year, we are,” President Joe Biden himself claimed during a speech he delivered last week.

“This year, I hope you will make the future of our democracy an important part of your decision to vote and how you vote. I hope you’ll ask a simple question of each candidate you might vote for: Will that person accept the legitimate will of the American people and the people voting in his district or her district? Will that person accept the outcome of the election, win or lose?” he added.

Democrats’ chief argument is that the Republican Party is full of so-called “election deniers” who’re going to refuse to accept the results of the upcoming elections. Again, never mind that Democrats are slated to be the big losers.

There’s another big problem with the left’s argument. It’s based on the false belief that anyone who raises concerns about an election — particularly the 2020 presidential election — is a so-called “election denier.”

But many have raised valid concerns about how the left had demonstrably manipulated the flow of information prior to the 2020 election. For instance, recall what happened with the New York Post’s reporting on Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop.

Some have likewise also raised valid concerns about how long it takes some communities to count their mail-in ballots.

Yet according to the left, anyone who raises any concerns is a so-called “election denier.” Meanwhile, leftists like Clinton are allowed to spout the most conspiratorial nonsense about the upcoming 2022 elections without being labeled similarly.

Naturally, Democrats have also linked their “election denier” rhetoric to the Jan. 6th committee’s activities and thus also to former President Donald Trump.

The problem though is that the public cares about none of this — “election deniers,” Jan. 6th, and former President Trump. They care instead about their pocketbooks, about the stock market, about people being murdered, about people being robbed, about children being indoctrinated at school, etc.

But again, neither Democrats nor their media allies are truly listening. If they were, they wouldn’t keep asking arguably dumb questions about whether or not certain members of Congress will accept a defeat at the ballot box.

They especially wouldn’t be asking it when they know darn well that these same members of Congress are, in fact, expected to win big …
