President Biden evidently carries extra cash in order to hand it out to children, encouraging the little tykes to get ice cream in an attempt to somehow “connect” with them, according to a former aide.
The president evidently has a thing for ice cream. He’s also been hammered for inappropriate behavior with women and girls, as well as bizarrely sniffing their hair.
Biden is well-known for taking selfies with people during his political events and more often than not, he will stop to have ice cream, no matter where he is.
“I’ve seen him comfort people who were in tears talking about their personal hardships, console somebody who’s recently been diagnosed with cancer, honor a veteran service member with a handshake and one of his challenge coins, and also give a young person money for ice cream just for sitting through the speech – and all in the same rope line,” former aide Stephen Goepfert noted, according to the Daily Mail, painting the strange habit as laudable.
Associated Press chief White House correspondent Zeke Miller bolstered the claim in a recent piece on Biden’s mission to ‘connect’ with people.
I’m sorry this is not normal: “It might be a small child — Biden likes to carry some cash so he can discretely slip kids a few dollars and encourage them to buy ice cream.” https://t.co/WsgkKhxND8

After noting that Biden isn’t at his best while giving speeches, Miller reported that targeting people in crowds for that ‘one-on-one’ connection is where Biden really shines.
“Biden has never been at his best in big speeches, where his delivery can be stilted, his stories sometimes meandering. It’s the end of his speech that often marks the beginning of Biden’s favorite part of an event — the rope line, in the parlance of political operatives,” Miller wrote. “He whirls around, scans the crowd and zeroes in on his first target for a one-on-one connection.”
Miller noted a time when Biden connected with a Milwaukee brewery owner with whom he has since kept in contact and has, for some reason, sent letters to his grandson.
“It might be a small child — Biden likes to carry some cash so he can discretely slip kids a few dollars and encourage them to buy ice cream. It might be someone who stutters — they come in for special attention from the president,” Miller continued in his piece.
Biden has been seen flashing money when he’s out and about. Recently, he pulled out a wad he was carrying with him when visiting a Los Angeles taqueria. He paid for the meal of the people behind him and left a big tip, but many contend that has the appearance of political propaganda rather than genuine generosity.
At the White House on Monday, Biden called up two children for a Diwali reception after he pointed out two lawmakers in the audience, Ro Khanna and Raja Krishnamoorthi.
“Are these your children? God love you, they had to be yours,” Biden stated. “Is that daddy right there?’ Mommy?”
Biden’s Schedule for Monday:
– Smell kids
– Nap
– Escalate potential of nuclear war
– Nap
– Lick ice cream

“We got a lot in common buddy, we both married way up,” Biden said, repeating a line he uses frequently before thanking “Raja for your leadership.”
The president told the children they could leave the stage if it got too boring for them.
Biden reportedly prefers selfies to up-close pictures taken with individuals’ phones. He has been reprimanded for getting a bit too handsy during some of those selfies.
Before he became president, Biden was known to give out his cell phone number to young people who were trying to overcome a stutter, ostensibly to give them advice. He still calls many of them today to encourage them.
Imagine if Biden drew the press to the border like he does with ice cream parlor photo ops.
Staged and creepy—and not necessarily in that order. No one wants to watch this old man eat ice cream and troll kids. pic.twitter.com/UQgrgACQKq

In June 2021, during a speech in Tulsa, OK, Biden stopped to address two young girls in the audience before returning to the podium to joke about the interaction.
Biden delayed the beginning of his speech to ensure the young girls in the audience would get ice cream.
“I just had to make sure that two girls got ice cream when this is over,” he told the audience.
“Almost 5 years old coming to hear a president speak. My lord. In my faith we call that purgatory,” Biden remarked.

That’s just one of numerous incidents evidently having to do with children and ice cream. The media paints it as endearing and an attempt to humanize him to voters, while others see it as alarming and inappropriate.
Biden seems obsessed with both ice cream and children.
I trust your “economic vision” as much as I trust you to watch kids. You have no idea what’s going on. You need to be home, eating ice cream, rocking in your rocking chair on the porch, and creeping out… sorry, ‘enjoying’… your own kids/grandkids. pic.twitter.com/jNW8HZJlXO

As Georgia senate candidate Herschel Walker recently said when asked if Biden had done anything he approved of, “He eats a lot of ice cream.”
