Boston University has allegedly created a new COVID strain that has an 80 percent kill rate, evidently basing its research on experiments that are eerily similar to the ones that purportedly started this whole deadly mess.
Researchers cooked up the new lethal strain in a laboratory, according to the Daily Mail, only wondering if they could, before asking if they should, ethically speaking.
The mutant variant is purportedly a hybrid of Omicron and the original Wuhan virus. Eighty percent of mice infected with it died. One has to ask why would they even do something like this.
When another group of mice was exposed to the standard Omicron strain, they all survived, only experiencing mild symptoms.

Mice weren’t good enough for the researchers. They then infected human cells with the new “Captain Trips” version of the hybrid variant and discovered it was five times more infectious than Omicron. That means that the version they just cooked up could be the most contagious and deadliest to date, outdoing the Chinese.
Despite the massive outcry over the experiments by the Chinese that reportedly led to the original COVID outbreak and the gain-of-function ones allegedly conducted by Dr. Fauci and his cohorts, they seem to be continuing.
Although the Chinese have insisted from the beginning that the COVID virus spread from a wet market in Wuhan, China, many believe it was manmade and this new Frankenstein variant goes further toward proof of that allegation.
The new research at Boston University has not been peer-reviewed yet. The researchers from Boston and Florida extracted Omicron’s spike protein which is the unique structure that binds to and invades human cells and started playing with it.

Omicron is said to have dozens of mutations but by all accounts, each time it evolves it is becoming less severe. However, if a new manmade variant gets out it could be like the beginning of the pandemic all over again, only potentially much, much worse.
For kicks, researchers attached Omicron’s spike protein to the original strain that first emerged in Wuhan. They were curious to see how mice did when injected with it compared to the original Omicron variant.
“In… mice, while Omicron causes mild, non-fatal infection, the Omicron S-carrying virus inflicts severe disease with a mortality rate of 80 percent,” researchers insanely crowed in a paper they wrote.
They concluded that while the spike protein is responsible for the infection, modification to other parts of its structure determines its deadliness, according to the Daily Mail.

They also examined the different strains’ effects on human lung cells that were grown in the lab. According to their research, the original COVID strain produced high levels of infectious virus particles. The new hybrid strain produced five times more infectious particles than Omicron does.
Scientists are claiming that the hybrid virus is not likely to be as lethal in humans as it is in mice because they don’t have identical immune responses. Not many would believe that claim at this juncture.

It’s not just the lab at Boston University that poses an Armageddon-like threat to Americans. Boston University’s National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories is one of 13 biosafety level 4 labs in the US. These labs handle the most dangerous pathogens out there and one whoopsie could kill millions. There are other facilities in Texas, Atlanta, and Kansas.
The labs justify playing around with experiments that involve animal viruses to advance treatments and vaccines that could be used in future outbreaks. Except, it never seems to work that way.
