Swalwell takes a break from Chinese spies to post warning for those ‘aboard the Trump Train’

U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell has been on the warpath this week accusing Republicans of stoking violence in the wake of the Mar-a-Lago raid and is warning those on the “Trump train” that things are going to get ugly.

“If you’ve been aboard the Trump Train the last 7 years, you’ve been given an unexpected stop. Time to get off. Wherever you think this is going, it’s not. Trump stole Top Secret documents. He’s put a target on the backs of cops. This is getting ugly. Don’t be in the wreckage,” Swalwell warned.

Not only is this the guy who allegedly slept with a Chinese spy, he’s also the one stirring the pot after the FBI raid on the former president’s Florida home in an effort to provoke Republicans into some sort of fight. He’s incessantly screaming that Trump is a national security threat and guilty of violating the Espionage Act.

He went on MSNBC’s “The ReidOut” Thursday and claimed the threat he received and the alleged threats to law enforcement are directly tied to Republicans, although nothing could be demonstrably further from the truth.

“You can draw a direct line from what Kevin McCarthy, what Steve Scalise, Marjorie Taylor-Greene, Lindsey Graham have all said and their threats against law enforcement or their lies they told about law enforcement and what this individual has posted online before he took up arms against the FBI,” Swalwell hatefully charged following the voicemail threatening to cut off his head.

“It’s a little personal for me because I have two brothers who walk the beat as law enforcement officers. These guys are not geniuses, they are just targeting law enforcement. So you have a lot of people wearing the uniform who are sitting ducks right now, someone who is fired up right now and he is being told by Kevin McCarthy that these folks are going rogue, or that these folks are planting evidence,” he continued, accusing the right of hating police because they are incensed over the thuggish tactics of the FBI.

“It’s not like they are going to look for an FBI agent, they are going to go after any law enforcement officer they see. All law enforcement are at risk, and this party by the way, who have told us for so long that they ‘Back the Blue,’ and the Democrats want to defund the police. When you talk like this it doesn’t sound like you’re pro-cop, it sounds like you are pro-coup,” he said, slandering Republicans.

He also went on MSNBC to further disparage those on the right.

Guest host Alicia Menendez kicked off her segment by jumping on the left’s bandwagon charging that Republicans are the violent ones, “In the 24 hours since the FBI arrived at Mar-a-Lago, we’ve seen an angry, sometimes and even violent reaction from the right.”

She asked Swalwell, “Congressman, what do you think, largely, about the right-wing reaction as a whole to the FBI search of Mar-a-Lago?”

“It’s very clear that Republicans have recognized that they can no longer win elections with votes, and so they’re leaning in hard to try to win elections with violence, and they are fomenting that violence right now,” Swalwell insisted.

“With the threats they’re making against the attorney general, with the online chatter that you continue to see, with the failure to condemn it on their side, and I see on my own social media channels, where the threats have escalated since Donald Trump’s residence was searched,” he continued. “This is who they are now, they are a chaos party.”

“Chaos is the leaders of the party arguing we need to defund the FBI. They don’t want community, they want chaos, and that is what the fallout is going to be from this search,” Swalwell bloviated.
