MSNBC analyst Fernand Amandi pushed more hatred on Saturday, calling Trump candidates and the America First project fascist, accusing conservatives of wanting to strip Americans of their rights and dismantle the Constitution.

On the MSNBC “Cross Connection” hosted by Tiffany Cross, the main course was the midterm elections with a heaping dose of doomsday warning concerning the Republican Party served with fascism for dessert.
“Today’s Republicans are fascist and it’s not just on issues like our democracy and the election being stolen or not stolen. It’s on issues like a woman’s right to medical care,” Lucy Caldwell, who was the campaign manager for Joe Walsh’s short-lived 2020 presidential campaign, falsely asserted to Cross.
She continued by pointing out that the Democratic Party strategy should not focus on winning conservatives over on specific issues, but should instead be “linking” Republicans with extremist positions such as complete abortion bans.
“We want to activate voters around their fear about the fear of fascism of Republicans, not necessarily asking them to become Planned Parenthood boosters because they’re not going to. That’s a cultural bridge too far for many folks,” she remarked.
Good morning to everyone that recognizes we are on a dangerous path to complete socialism/communism and are ready to take a stand and fight against it.
Pack the polls.
Change the course.
End the Establishment.
Drain the swamp.

Democratic pollster and MSNBC analyst Fernand Amandi went even further. He still holds out hope for so-called “moderate” Republicans such as Trump critics Reps. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) and Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.), who might as well be Democrats for all the difference it makes these days. He asserted what is needed are conservatives who aren’t attached to “fascist candidates representing the Trump wing.”
“When those folks are all gone, we can absolutely call them all fascists, but I think this is the battle for what’s left of the soul of the Republican Party,” Amandi disingenuously contended.
He made the point that Democrats need to be much clearer in their language concerning the threat from Republicans. He even went so far as to claim that the next step for the GOP if they sweep the presidency, the House, and the Senate is to dismantle the Constitution.
“You have to make the case to the American people, this project, this authoritarian America First project, which is a fascist project, is designed not only to dismantle our rights,” Amandi railed. “The next step is to literally dismantle the Constitution.”

“There are calls for a Constitutional Convention to undo the Constitution if they capture all three branches of government again. You’ve seen folks like Rick Santorum and others lead that charge. That is what is coming next. So fundamentally, this is the choice that Americans have. I think the Kansas results are heartening and I’ll say this also as a pollster… the beauty is the majority of the American electorate is still on the side of constitutionality, the rule of law,” he stated.
“The vast majority reject these extreme positions on nearly every metric. Whether it’s abortion, reproductive freedom, immigration, when it comes to the role of the economy… the American people are on the side of the Democratic Party and the Constitution and they reject this Republican fascist approach. And that’s why I think it’s critical to make that distinction now in November,” Amandi concluded.
