MSNBC guest likens ‘fascist’ Supreme Court to Nazi Germany, quotes AOC

The Supreme Court dealt a blow to President Joe Biden’s transformational scheme to usher in a new green energy era in a Thursday ruling that infuriated climate change zealots, the final indignity for the political left that watched in horror as conservative justices delivered several key rulings that cut out the heart of their radical agenda, leading some to draw comparisons to Nazi Germany.

One whose ideological passions far outweigh her knowledge of history is activist Jamie Margolin, a co-director of activist group Zero Hour which describes itself as “an intersectional movement of youth activists fighting for a livable planet for all,” who had strong words for the Supreme Court as well as an admiration for Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez which she shared with MSNBC host Zerlina Maxwell.

Margolin appeared on Friday’s edition of “Zerlina” on MSNBC Peacock where she discussed the thought process behind her tweet claiming that “The Supreme Court is a deadly threat to our earth and all life on it.”

“How are you feeling after Thursday’s ruling,” Maxwell asked her guest.

“Well, I agree with what Congresswoman AOC and many others have said, which is that this is a judicial coup at this point,” responded Margolin, referring to a missive from the socialist diva who described the high court’s decisions that she doesn’t agree with as a “judicial coup in progress” in a Thursday tweet where she uncorked the conspiracy theory that the SCOTUS will seek to undo any Democrat victory in the presidential election next.

“The judicial branch is absolutely overreaching in their power and completely overturning what the majority of people want,” she said, repeating the left’s “majority of the people” talking point.  what is good for the people, what is the will of the people with the decisions against Roe v. Wade, with all of these decisions against what goes against basic common sense safety and majority decisions, and they’re just overturning, overturning, taking away basic rights and progress to the point where it’s like, this is – this is a clear descent into fascism if we don’t take serious action,”

“And I don’t say that lightly,” she added.

“I study fascism a lot. I grew up, I mean, my grandpa was a World War Two veteran,” she continued. “My, on my dad’s side we’re Jewish. And I grew up just, you know, learning a lot about Nazi Germany and other fascist regimes and things like that because of how the people in my family had lived through and seen and studied history so well, and the important thing is to always remember, it can happen here.”

After her ridiculous remarks drew attention, Margolin took to Twitter to play the victim, “what hot takes from those in this thread comparing a gay jewish woman to nazis for saying we should stop fascism in america,” she wrote.

Margolin and her fellow ideological travelers would be well served to educate themselves by investing the time to read William L. Shirer’s The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, a towering work that was first published in 1960 and to this day remains the definitive account of Nazi Germany and while there are many eerie similarities between Hitler’s despotic regime and modern day America, they are exclusively found on the left, especially within the Democratic party which has declared war on the nation’s institutions with the Supreme Court being the last obstacle that stands in their way.
