It didn’t take long for Disney to cave and make the decision to air Democratic political advertisements promoting gun control, abortion, and Jan. 6 propaganda on Hulu after facing massive backlash from leftists.
Amid accusations of censorship, Disney bent the knee to Democrats Wednesday further cementing their continued slide into radicalism and oblivion.
“After a thorough review of ad policies across its linear networks and streaming platforms over the last few months, Disney is now aligning Hulu’s political advertising policies to be consistent with the Company’s general entertainment and sports cable networks and ESPN+,” Disney proclaimed in a statement, according to Axios.
The outrage over reports that the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, and the Democratic Governors Association had their ads rejected by Disney/Hulu saw hashtags #BoycottHulu and #CancelHulu trend on social media.
Paying that extra money a month for the “no ads” is totally worth it.

The executive directors of the three Democratic groups, Christie Roberts, Tim Persico, and Noam Lee, issued a scathing statement on the refusal by Hulu to run the ads previously.
“Hulu’s censorship of the truth is outrageous, offensive, and another step down a dangerous path for our country. Voters have the right to know the facts about MAGA Republicans’ agenda on issues like abortion — and Hulu is doing a huge disservice to the American people by blocking voters from learning the truth about the GOP record or denying these issues from even being discussed,” they charged.
Disney allowed political candidate advertising on Hulu prior to this development, but they drew the line at issue-specific ads. And while Disney is kowtowing to the left, many believe it is highly unlikely the same consideration will be given to conservative outlets.
Broadcast networks such as Disney-owned ABC and its local affiliates are allegedly prohibited by law from rejecting ads from political candidates on any topic. The same does not apply to streaming services.
Can’t we just enjoy 1 aspect of our lives without having political garbage shoved down our throats?

Hulu will now join other Disney-owned cable platforms such as ESPN and FX in regard to displaying political ads. The company still reserves the right to reject an ad or ask that it be edited before being aired.
“Hulu will now accept candidate and issue advertisements covering a wide spectrum of policy positions, but reserves the right to request edits or alternative creative, in alignment with industry standards,” the company announced in a statement.
It seems Hulu wants to go the way of woke Obamaflix after all!

The changes being foisted on Hulu will not apply to the company’s ad-supported tier for Disney+ that launches later this year. Disney is prohibiting political and alcohol-related ads in an effort to keep the platform family-friendly.
Democrats hope that ads on streaming services will have an impact on the midterm elections. They are still expected to get trounced across the nation in the elections due to woke progressive policies and could potentially lose both the House and the Senate.
Axios is reporting that advertising projections show approximately $1.5 billion will be spent on campaign ads in 2022. Broadcast television is still expected to host the largest share of advertising dollars, with projections estimated at $4.6 billion in spending on those platforms.
