People openly wonder if Pelosi sat on bill to protect justices so one would be killed, replaced with a Biden nom

A Newsmax host has implied that U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) had a nefarious reason for holding up action on legislation to beef up security for Supreme Court justices and their families.

In a back and forth with Congressman Rodney Davis (R-Il.), Chris Salcedo made reference to the man who traveled from California to Maryland allegedly with intent to kill Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, an extremely disturbing incident that most corporate media outlets ignored.

“A lot of folks are starting to ask some questions out there, congressman,” Salcedo claimed on Tuesday. “They’re openly wondering why Nancy Pelosi sat on a bill that was passed by the Senate to protect Supreme Court justices. Now she’s moving after an assassination attempt on Justice Kavanaugh. Are Americans right to question if Pelosi was actually hoping for, or encouraging violence, that could lead to Joe Biden appointing a new Supreme Court justice?”

Davis understandably deflected Salcedo’s outlandish premise or theory, but nonetheless insisted that Pelosi has some explaining to do.

“It’s certainly questions that Nancy Pelosi and others need to answer as to why she thought somehow Justice Kavanaugh – after having an assassin in his backyard – is somehow safe over the weekend. We could’ve gotten to this bill last week, but she chose to hold it up, and she needs to answer as to why,” he said.

Davis then alluded to the incident in June 2017 when a gunman opened fire on GOP politicians practicing for the Congressional Baseball Game in which Davis’ colleague Steve Scalise (R-La.) was seriously wounded.

“I mean it was five years ago that this left-wing gunman, inspired by rhetoric like Republican policies are killing people, tried to kill me and my friends. It’s left-wing violence that we now see with Justice Kavanaugh. What did they expect? And it’s not a coincidence that the only two justices’ names that are being brought up are Justice Kavanaugh and Justice Coney Barrett, and it’s the far left that politicized their confirmation process that led to… rage of an obviously deranged individual,” Davis asserted.

The U.S. Senate passed the bill, known as the Supreme Court Police Parity Act, back on May 9 shortly after the leak of a draft opinion in the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization case authored by Justice Samuel Alito that would overturn Roe v. Wade if the ruling is finalized and becomes official.

The disclosure prompted protests outside the high court building as well as at the personal residences of the justices by pro-abortion activists. The California man who allegedly targeted Kavanaugh was supposedly incensed about the potential overturning of Roe.

Salcedo then went on to note that a radical group is using Twitter to doxx Justice Barrett’s family and her religious community.

On Tuesday, the House passed the enhanced security legislation by a 396-27 vote. The  27 no votes were all cast by Democrats including various “Squad” members. Last Thursday, Squad stalwart Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.)  bragged about stalling the legislation because she was dissatisfied that the chamber had not acted on gun control.

As alluded to above, Pelosi hardly distinguished herself by downplaying safety concerns on Friday, insisting at the time that “No one is in danger over the weekend because of our not having a bill.”

President Joe Biden is expected to sign the bill shortly.
