The contempt that corporate media has for the average American knows no bounds and MSNBC’s Tiffany Cross exemplified this Saturday on her program with what she chose to talk about, and even more so with what was left unsaid.
During “The Cross Connection,” which airs between 10 a.m. and noon on Saturdays, the host has ample time to discuss any number of topics from the week that was. However, one of the major headlines of the week didn’t even merit a passing mention according to the Media Research Centers NewsBusters.
In reviewing Cross’s Saturday program they found that there was not a single mention of the 26-year-old suspect who attempted to assassinate Justice Brett Kavanaugh on Wednesday. Instead, the host decided to dedicate an entire segment to matter of stripper unions.
“Alright, Bens will make her dance,” Cross stated as commercials ended, “but what [will] really do the trick, unionizing. That’s right. As employees at companies like Apple, Amazon, and Starbucks push unionizing, so too are some strippers in Los Angeles.”
“Dancers at the topless bar, Star Garden, plan to join the union Strippers United, which would make them the first strip club in America to unionize in over two decades,” she went on before detailing, “Now, dancers have been on strike there for over two months now fighting for employee labor rights. Everyone deserves an equitable workplace and it’s time for adult dancers to have a seat at the table and I’m very excited to have this conversation.”
It should come as no surprise that a story that could make the left look bad would be suppressed by allies in the media. But even worse than Cross’s omission of the attempt on Kavanaugh’s life was the hyperbolic gaslighting that she participated in during the Senate confirmation hearing for now-Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson less than three months ago.

At the time, the host permitted her guest, commentator and race-baiter Elie Mystal, to go on a rant against Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) over his questioning of Jackson’s record of leniency when sentencing child porn offenders.
“What Josh Hawley is doing, let’s be very clear, what Josh Hawley is doing when he tries to do this is he is trying to get her killed.,” Mystal raged. “He is trying to get violence done against a Supreme Court nominee and we know this because when these people go off making their ridiculous claims about child pornography, we know that there’s some of their people show up violently to do stuff.”
“Yes, absolutely, you’re right,” Cross replied fully endorsing a hypothetical danger against Jackson. Meanwhile, actual threats to the safety and well-being of justices go unmentioned.
As Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) succinctly put it Thursday when he railed against Democrats for “actively encouraging” the attempted murder of Kavanaugh, “The left is far too willing to encourage violence when it suits their political ends.”
It’s only fitting that former White House press secretary Jen Psaki will be joining the network since she had stated on behalf of the administration, “So I know that there’s an outrage right now I guess about protests that have been peaceful to date, and we certainly continue to encourage that outside of judges’ homes and that’s the president’s position.”
So, because the laws being broken benefit the narrative of the left, not a word against that will be uttered by Cross. Instead, she took time to promote other aspects of the progressive agenda with her guest Antonia Crane, described as an “author, activist, sex worker & Ph.D. candidate at USC.”
“It’s a pay-to-play model and it’s, they’re profiting off of the literal bodies of strippers with their tip stealing, wage theft,” Crane said during the segment as she lamented the industry, ” and what strippers need is an anti-discrimination policy that has teeth and bite and the only way to do that, 100 years plus of labor organizing will show that that’s the way to push these anti-discrimination policies and the rights of workers,” she added before decrying policies that resulted in the firing of dancers, but specifically mentioning black, brown, and trans dancers.
