If the President makes a bad decision and some Americans die, is he responsible?

Op-ed views and opinions expressed are solely those of the author.

How many Americans have to die as a direct result of a decision of the president before he is held responsible?

If the president makes a decision that starts killing Americans and he is made aware of the negative outcome of the decision, should he continue to enforce his wrong decision causing more Americans to unnecessarily die, should he resign, be impeached, or be tried in court on criminal charges?

I have two examples. First, “Politico: U.S. Drug Overdose Deaths Surpass  107,000 last year, another record.” This article points out that according to the CDC, Fentanyl is 50 times stronger than heroin and 100 times stronger than morphine. The average amount of fentanyl seized from 2018 through 2020 was 321 pounds a month. Through the first nine months of this year, the monthly average is 830 pounds. In the fiscal year 2021, U.S. Customs and Border Protection seized 10,586 pounds of fentanyl at the southern border, more than double the amount taken in FY 2020.

Drug trafficking organizations typically distribute fentanyl by the kilogram. One kilogram of fentanyl has the potential to kill 500,000 people. One kilogram is equal to about 2 pounds 3 oz. “DEA Seizes Record 12,000 Pounds of Fentanyl; Enough to Give Lethal Dose to Entire US Population.”

When Biden took the oath of office, he was aware of the problem of not only illegal immigration but the smuggling of fentanyl across the southern border. He was also aware of the number of overdoses resulting from the illegal sale of fentanyl. As each month went by and more illegals came across the border, more fentanyl was brought into America.

President Biden has had the opportunity to try and stop the importation of the ever-increasing amount of fentanyl, and he has done nothing. Let me give you a comparison. From 1954 to 1975, 58,220 military servicemen were killed during the Vietnam war. It would take only 197 days for the same number of Americans to die from an overdose of fentanyl than died in the entire Vietnam War.

It seems to me that when the overdoses reached 58,220, Joe should have acted to stop the carnage, but he did not. He continues to let illegals and fentanyl pour into the country and take American lives. Illegal immigration and drugs are joined at the hip, one brings the other.

President Obama, when he was Joe Biden’s boss, said“As President, I have often said that I have no greater responsibility than protecting the American people.” He wrote this statement in “National Strategy for Counterterrorism,” which states that the President “bears no greater responsibility than ensuring the safety and security of the American people.” President Biden did not protect the American people, and by continuing to allow illegals and fentanyl and other  lethal drugs to come into the country, I believe he is guilty of “high crimes and misdemeanors.” He is responsible for 5 people dying every minute of an overdose.

The second example has to do with COVID-19, the worst public health crisis in over 100 years, so it has been reported. It is true that we recently marked the 1,000,000 death of COVID-19. However, the lies that we have been notified of and the policies instituted by the Biden administration and state public health officials may have cost many unnecessary deaths today and perhaps more in the future.

According to the Census Bureau, we have 73 million children under the age of 18 and only 700 of them have died from COVID over the two-plus years of the pandemic. COVID-19 did not make the top 10 list of the causes of childhood deaths. A recent report showed that of the 700 children that died, 47% had comorbidities. The 371 children represent a percentage of death of .00000508% of the 73 million children.

Of the 1,000,000 people who have died from COVID-19 the, 700 children represent .0007% of the people who have died. The National Center for Health Statistics reports that the 700 children aged 4 and under accounted for 200 deaths during the pandemic. That means that of the 700 children who died, only 175 children died from COVID alone.

Yahoo! Life, reported, “You’re 3 Times More Likely to Get COVID After Vaccination If You Have the shots.” We have to give our children more and more shots because the shots do not last. We should be asking what we are we doing to our children by pumping into them more and more of this experimental drug.

Since March 2020, the federal government has provided $190 billion in pandemic aid to schools, an amount that is more than four times what the U.S. Education Department spends on K-12 schools in a typical year.

I wondered what the school boards would do with this windfall. A recent survey from the School Superintendents Association found that a majority of districts are planning to use the funds for support staff, technology to access the internet, and professional development for educators. CNN, in a report, had a headline, “Schools still have billions of federal Covid relief money to spend.” School boards are running out of ideas as to how to spend the windfall. We should have an accounting of how much of these billions of dollars are going directly to the school children.

The least at-risk for COVID people in our country are under the strictest restraints. Young children, most notably the smallest children, are being harmed because of seriously flawed public health policy. We are using an experimental drug on our children. If something goes wrong medically with children because of the vaccine, parents can’t sue the government or the drug companies.

Ask yourself this question: How would things be different had the government not given immunity to the drug companies? The president is the biggest champion in supporting the shots for children under 5. As I started this commentary I asked is the president guilty perhaps of murder because he made an initial mistake and will not change his mind when he is proven wrong.
