Journalist Andy Ngo exposed a leftist on Twitter who falsely claimed that he was the uncle of one of the Uvalde mass shooting victims and that Governor Greg Abbott (R-Texas) tried to bribe him, while political commentator Keith Olbermann fell hook, line, and sinker for the fabrication.
My Cancer Journey tweeted after the shooting, “Uvalde Update: We were finally able to see my living nephews body to confirm identity. Shot in the face. While leaving to return home we were followed by what was assumed to be media, which win we do not wish to speak during this time. 4 mins after returning home a knock on the door. It’s a representative for Gov Greg Abbott.”
“He informed us he’s willing to pay us to stand with the Gov and say we don’t need stronger gun laws. To which almost got this clown hurt. He was asked to leave and said that if we speak about this conversation we will be facing charges and possibly worse. We responded with f*** you, try me and find out. Then we were told people get hurt and disappear all the time. F*** Greg Abbott and this harassment while we all mourn.” he added.
None of that is apparently true and Ngo has the receipts to prove it according to Twitchy.

“This thread from a man who claims @GregAbbott_TX sent a representative to offer money to pose w/the governor for #Uvalde has gone ultra-viral with the left. But I looked into who is really behind the account. Jason R. Nauertz, 43, is not from Texas. He’s from Spokane, Wash,” Ngo tweeted.

“Jason R. Nauertz has claimed on Twitter to be a 9/11 responder, a Purple Heart recipient, & to have had another nephew that was killed. No one with his name has received a Purple Heart. He is an anti-Trump activist who has boasted about shooting at cars with Trump flags,” Ngo continued on Twitter.

“Many left-wing verified accounts have amplified the claims & made it go viral with no independent scrutiny. It conforms to their bias so that’s good enough to be true. An editor at the Austin Chronicle (YorkshireTX) was among them,” he noted.

“Multiple Pulitzer-winning LA Times columnist Patt Morrison helped amplify the claims,” Ngo noted.
“.@cbs46 news anchor @shongables amplified the claim a #Uvalde family member was offered cash to pose with Gov. @GregAbbott_TX, as did @KeithOlbermann, who frequently falls for hoaxes. @USATODAY digital producer @BGisBrandonGray as well,” the conservative reporter stated.

“Left-wing activist Amy Siskind, who has shared many hoaxes, amplified the claim. @SassyMamainLA, an editor for Entertainment Weekly (@EW), called for the FBI to investigate Gov. Abbott,” Ngo reported. “Other journalists also jumped on the story.”

“Jason Nauertz, the Spokane man who claimed in an ultra-viral thread to be a family member of a deceased nephew in the #Uvalde shooting who @GregAbbott_TX
tried to bribe, had also claimed to be black. His Facebook profile before it was deleted shows photos of a man who isn’t black,” he charged.
“Actress Rosanna Arquette thanks Jason Nauertz for his ‘courage.'” Ngo tweeted.

“Katie Hall, a reporter for the Austin newspaper @statesman & chair of the @austinnewsguild reached out to Jason Nauertz to ask him to help her amplify his claims,” Ngo pointed out and also tweeted that, “Jason R. Nauertz also claimed to have been a prisoner of war, a 9/11 first responder, a Purple Heart recipient, having another nephew killed prior to #Uvalde, & being offered a bribe by Gov. @GregAbbott_TX.”

As for Keith Olbermann, he was quick to attack Abbott and accuse him of all sorts of nasty things.
“The nightmare continues. The DOJ needs to prosecute the office of Texas Governor @GregAbbott_TX for malfeasance and intimidation,” Olbermann tweeted.
