Putin ‘very ill’ with blood cancer Russian oligarch says; China’s Xi reportedly also facing health issue

Additional speculation has emerged about the heath status of Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin based on the purported leak of some clandestine audio.

In the meantime, in another development that could potentially further destabilize the globe, President Xi of China, who is roughly the same age as Putin, allegedly also has serious health challenges and could be ousted from power.

New Lines Magazine, which described itself as offering “the best ideas and writing about the Middle East and beyond,” claims it has obtained a secret recording of a disillusioned Russian oligarch claiming that Putin has blood cancer.

Earlier this month, reports emerged that Russia’s dictator was scheduled for cancer surgery of some sort and that he was handing over power temporarily to a KGB hardliner.

Previous gossip has suggested that Putin, 69, has Parkinson’s disease or thyroid cancer, among other alleged maladies.

New Lines suggests that the tape itself is legit, although it underscored that it could not confirm the diagnosis that was discussed.

The publication indicated that says it has verified the oligarch’s identity and voice but will not publicly name the man, which it calls Yuri as a pseudonym, out of concerns that the Kremlin would retaliate against him economically, throw him in jail, or worse.

From New Lines:

New Lines has obtained an audio recording of an oligarch close to the Kremlin who describes Putin as “very ill with blood cancer,” although the type of blood cancer was unspecified. Needless to say, we are unable to independently confirm this allegation, Putin’s medical charts being notoriously difficult to come by. But the recording represents rare testimony by someone with proven ties to the Russian government that its fanatical dictator may well be seriously unwell. And the oligarch had no idea he was being recorded.

A Western venture capitalist taped the conversation in mid-March without the oligarch’s foreknowledge or consent. The source provided the recording to New Lines on the condition that we not publicly identify him. He says he betrayed a colleague’s trust out of disgust with the war in Ukraine — a disgust his secretly recorded interlocutor evidently shares. “He absolutely ruined Russia’s economy, Ukraine’s economy and many other economies — ruined [them] absolutely,” the oligarch says of Putin. “The problem is with his head. … One crazy guy can turn the world upside down.”

“Yuri then goes on to say that ‘we all hope’ Putin dies from his cancer or possibly from some internal intervention in Moscow such as a coup to spare Russia from further misfortune — either an accidental switch of pronoun or one reflective of shared oligarchic opinion,” the magazine as part of a lengthy article.

Leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma are the three main types of blood cancer.

China’s president for life, Xi Jinping, 68, is supposedly seriously ill, too, according to The Sun of the U.K.

Xi “is suffering from a deadly brain aneurysm, reports claim – as he faces a coup over China’s devastating Covid lockdowns…According to news agency ANI, Xi suffered the ‘cerebral aneurysm’ at the end of 2021.”

The Chinese president “reportedly wanted to be treated with traditional medicine rather than undergo major surgery after he was rushed to hospital,” The Sun claimed.

The Sun might be referring to Traditional Chinese Medicine, which is a more holistic approach distinct from the drugs-and-surgery orientation of western modalities.

According to the  Mayo Clinic, “A brain aneurysm is a bulge or ballooning in a blood vessel in the brain…A brain aneurysm can leak or rupture, causing bleeding into the brain (hemorrhagic stroke)…A ruptured aneurysm quickly becomes life-threatening and requires prompt medical treatment. Most brain aneurysms, however, don’t rupture, create health problems or cause symptoms.”

In reference to China’s strict lockdowns, “mixed messages from China’s government chiefs has raised questions over whether there’s a split brewing at the top as question marks hang over how sustainable Xi’s hardline strategy is,” the British news outlet added.

According to one international relations expert cited by The Sun, “Xi will be booted out by internal opponents within the Chinese Communist Party in a coup in Beijing.”

China is aggressively seeking to become the world’s primary superpower and has grown closer to Russia amidst the latter’s invasion of neighboring Ukraine.

According to a recent report from Bloomberg, “China will continue strengthening strategic ties to Russia, a senior diplomat said, showing the relationship remains solid despite growing concerns of war crimes in Vladimir Putin’s war in Ukraine.”

“Like Putin, Xi’s health has always been a closely guarded secret,” the Daily Mail noted.
