U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) is getting pummeled by leftists after wondering aloud on Twitter Wednesday how many “over-educated, under-loved” millennial women are taking part in the pro-abortion protests, raging over the potential overturning of Roe vs. Wade.
“How many of the women rallying against overturning Roe are over-educated, under-loved millennials who sadly return from protests to a lonely microwave dinner with their cats, and no bumble matches?” Gaetz tweeted Wednesday morning igniting a firestorm from the left.
“How many of the women protesting the overturning of Roe are on meal delivery subscriptions….for one?” he also tweeted.
The tweets come just two days after an opinion brief written by Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito was anonymously leaked to Politico, contending that Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey “must be overturned” and are unconstitutional. The draft has been authenticated but may not be the final version. A ruling is reportedly slated to be handed down in June.

Thousands of pro-abortion protesters have now taken to the streets across the nation decrying the striking down of Roe v. Wade. The media is eagerly playing video after video showcasing their rage for the country to digest.
Bill Kristol, who is the editor-at-large of The Bulwark and an infamous Never-Trumper, tweeted Tuesday that Gaetz’s comment was “witless and vulgar misogyny.”
Here we have a member of the U.S. Congress indulging in witless and vulgar misogyny. I assume @RonDeSantisFL and @marcorubio are in full support of his reelection? https://t.co/5hjanQ3xvB

Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) stated that Gaetz’s tweet was an attempt to galvanize voters ahead of the November midterm elections.
“Republicans like Matt Gaetz are for government-mandated pregnancy, against education, and against cats. You can help on campaigns to decide whether or not he is in the majority this November (assuming he isn’t indicted by the DOJ who is investigating him for sex crimes),” the congressman disjointedly and hatefully wrote on Twitter.

The left continues to put out allegedly unfounded claims that Gaetz was somehow involved in sex trafficking. He has never been charged but slanderous statements keep circulating among his detractors. The 39-year-old Republican has firmly denied the allegations.
“How many of the Republican politicians trying to control women and restrict their fundamental rights are currently under criminal investigation for sex crimes?” Rep. Don Beyer (D-Va.) vilely asked on the social media platform.

Vice President Kamala Harris’ niece, Meena Harris, also went there, “How many of the right wing members of Congress rallying against Roe are under investigation for sex trafficking a minor? Just you?”

Jemele Hill, who is a contributing writer for The Atlantic, also slanderously asked via Twitter, “How many Florida politicians are out here using a tax collector as a personal pimp to procure sex with a 17 year old girl because they’re a predator and gross? Hypothetically speaking, of course.”

“My tweet speaks for itself,” Gaetz told The Hill when asked to comment on the backlash. “I obviously don’t regret it.”
Unsurprisingly, the Yellowhammer Fund, which is an abortion fund and a reproductive justice group, has decided to capitalize on Gaetz’s tweet by fundraising off of it.
The group is selling t-shirts that read, “Over-Educated Woman Who Supports Abortion Access.” The proceeds are going to the group’s 501(c)(3) abortion fund.
