As the leaked opinion by the U.S. Supreme Court potentially overturning the landmark abortion case Roe vs. Wade reverberates throughout the country causing historic liberal meltdowns, Americans are outraged over the implications of the leak with one calling it “worse than January 6th.”
“Leaking a draft SCOTUS ruling is worse than January 6th. The Court was the one institution where conservatives and liberals lived in peace and trust. You disagreed but the trust was sacred. This completely destroys the Court’s inner workings. Totally in shock right now,” conservative political commentator Mike Cernovich asserted on Twitter concerning SCOTUS intending to overturn Roe vs. Wade.
“The SCOTUS leak is an actual insurrection. An attempt to completely upend and delegitimize the rule of law, incite violence and chaos, and potentially plunge the nation into civil war. January 6th was a stroll in the park compared to this. It’s not even close,” author and conservative pundit Matt Walsh proclaimed on Twitter.
“It’s impossible to overstate the earthquake this will cause inside the Court, in terms of the destruction of trust among the Justices and staff. This leak is the gravest, most unforgivable sin,” the SCOTUSblog flatly stated.

“There is little question that this leak is designed to create threat to the life and limb of any justice who signs onto the majority opinion. Prosecution to the full extent of the law,” Daily Wire editor Ben Shapiro wrote.
Shapiro would go on to write on the Daily Wire, “The attempt to leverage public pressure against the justices is an attempt to strangle the Alito majority opinion in the crib, to generate fractures on the Court. Were the final Court decision to depart widely from Alito’s draft now, it would be crystal clear that public pressure played the main role. And that is the reason the draft was leaked. The Supreme Court, which supposedly is above petty politics, will now be subjected to a tsunami of threats from a snarling left-wing enraged by the prospect of restrictions on killing in the womb.”‘

Others sounded off over the potential ruling from both the left and the right. But it is the left who is observedly ginning up anger and unrest over the issue:

Should Roe vs. Wade be overturned, the power to legalize abortion or not will be returned to the individual states.
The draft was anonymously leaked to Politico and many contend it was done to sway the high court and to stoke anger and divisiveness among American voters. It is a “full-throated, unflinching repudiation” of the 1973 Supreme Court ruling, according to Politico.
“Roe was egregiously wrong from the start,” Justice Samuel Alito reportedly wrote in the draft opinion that was leaked.
“We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled,” the opinion added. “It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives.”

Even some in the media are aghast at the unprecedented leak and it is rumored that an all-out investigation will ensue that will involve the FBI.
“This is an unprecedented leak from #SCOTUS. It raises questions about how the institution will ever recover, and how Chief Justice Roberts will respond. Sources tonight tell @JanCBS he is likely to order a full-blown investigation, involving the FBI, to determine the source,” CBS News Field Producer Elizabeth Campbell reported.

Meanwhile, other media outlets such as the Associated Press scrambled to report on the explosive story, torn between shock and rage that such a liberal bedrock issue would be struck down by the Supreme Court. But they are enthusiastically covering protests that have already begun to form over the issue a few hours after the leak, right on cue.
